I felt my eyes slowly flutter open as I heard the sound of waves crashing outside the balcony window. It's already been two weeks since I've been in Cali. Only two more weeks to go. But at the same time I didn't want to leave. It was amazing here.
I loved it. But I also loved Las Vegas. Its my home. I slid out of bed and walked Into the bathroom. I slowly took my hair out of the ponytail it was in, letting my natural waves come through. I ran my fingers through my hair, tossing it around a bit. I decided to leave it natural and all down. I quickly applied a light layer of makeup then walking out. I went to my luggage and pulled out a black sundress that I had with matching black flip flops.
I took of the clothes I slept in and slid the dress over my head, it falling right to the middle of my thigh. I slid my flip flops on as well. I looked in the full body mirror, satisfied with my outfit and walked downstairs. I saw everybody was dressed like they were about to go somewhere. "So what's the occasion?" I asked walking closer to them.
"We were thinking of going out to breakfast. You could stay with the dogs." My uncle joked. "Ha! You're funny!" I said in a sarcastic tone, playfully rolling my eyes afterwards. I sat down by the island going on my phone. Awhile later, everyone started to stand up. "I think we should start going, we don't want it to be packed." We all started walking outside to the cars. I sat in the back with my younger cousins. I'm talking 5 years old and 9 years old, while my aunt & uncle sat in front. Then my parents and grandparents in another car.
We decided to go to a nice little restaurant on some boardwalk. I looked out the window as I saw the natural sunlight shinning against the blue water. Around twenty minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot. I hopped out helping the little ones out also. I held my youngest cousin in my arms. I looked around while waiting for everyone else and saw a guy who had a similar structure and look like Jason. I shrugged it off. Not a big deal. I walked inside the restaurant and sat in the booth. Everyone ordered the same thing so I decided to do it too.
~Later~
"Hey kid!" My dad's voice called out to me. "What?" I asked looking over towards him. "Go start the car for me." He spoke, tossing the car keys to me. I caught them, nodding. Walking outside to the car. I walked over to the drivers side and opened the door. I leaned in and placed the key in the ignition. "Excuse me?" I heard a raspy voice behind me. "Do you know where the nearest gas station is?" I turned around about to give an answer, but my words were taken right out of my mouth. "Jason?" I asked speechless. He had a smirk on his face. "I missed you so so much!" I exclaimed, jumping into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me and spun me around. "I missed you too baby." He said in the crook of my neck.
I pulled away and looked at him. "Where are you out here?" "Oh you see...uhm." "Jason." I sternly said. "The guys kicked me out." He said scratching the back of his neck. "Jason what did you do?" "I-Its nothing you need to worry about." He smiled. Fake. "Oh alright." "So where are you staying?" "I...I don't know?" He cursed under his breath.
"Stay with us for now." I smiled. "No Scar. This is your family time, remember? I'm not family." I groaned. He always has to make things so difficult. I took my phone out and texted him the address to the beach by the house. "Meet me here at 9:00pm." I smiled and walked back inside the restaurant.
It was 8:57 and I was standing by the shore of the abandoned beach. I heard sand kicking behind me. Before I could turn around, Jason picked me up and ran into the water. "Jason! Jason stop!" I said laughing. After both of us were soaking wet with water, we walked off the beach and to the house. The benefits of having a house on the beach. I climbed over the railing of the balcony and into the house, with Jason following right behind.
He took off his shoes and jacket. Placing them on a chair. I ran my fingers through my hair, feeling the feeling of sand in it. Gross. I walked into the bathroom turning on the shower. I felt Jason's arms wrap around my torso as he closed the door. He began kissing my neck up to my earlobe. We stripped our clothes off and walked into the steaming hot shower.
I grabbed the shampoo and poured a good amount onto Jason's head. I set it down and put my hands into his hair, washing out the sand from his hair. He moaned quietly from the feeling. Suddenly, I heard the door open. I quickly put my hands over his mouth. "Sweetie, have you seen my purse?" My mom asked. "Um, no. Have you checked the car?" I said looking at Jason whose eyes were squinted at me. I rolled my eyes.
"You know what I haven't. Thanks anyways." She walked out and closed the door. I removed my hands and Jason scowled. "You got soap in my mouth." He said sticking his tongue out in disgust. "Oh get over it." We finished up the shower and walked out getting into bed. "I have to leave in the morning you know." Jason said in my ear. "But you don't have anywhere to stay. I need you to stay here." "But what if your family finds me?" "You'll be fine. They don't come up here at all really. Besides you could always lock the door." I said snuggling in his chest, feeling a bit tired. "Alright. I guess I have to do that." I nodded before quickly falling asleep.
