Today was really fun until reality hit me that I was leaving tonight. Jason actually offered to drive me to the airport and meet my parents there. They allowed it and agreed to meet there at 6:30, since the flight leaves at 7:00 on the dot. I know a month isn't necessarily a long time, but to me especially Jason, it was. It was now 5:30. We went out to lunch like he said we would, and just took a really long drive around town. We talked about how we promised we would call each other everyday and skype before bed, which I thought was really adorable how he wanted to do that. Of course, I agreed to it.

After driving for about an hour we went back to his house. Jason drove me to my house as well awhile before so that I was able to grab my suitcase. I laid on the couch with Jason as we watched the usual afternoon cartoons. He fingers played with the ends of my hair as I rested my head on his chest. He suddenly kissed the top of my head. "I'm gonna miss you so much babe." He whispered quietly. I smiled small. "I know Jason. I'll miss you too. So much." I pecked his cheek. "But it's only a month. Besides, I haven't seen my family in California for...a long time." I slightly chuckled.

"I'll be back in no time." We continued talking for what seemed like forever but what really for an hour or so until it was time to leave. Me and Jason walked to his car and started driving to McCarran Airport, Las Vegas' top international airport.

Jason pulled his car into drop off but got out of the car with me. "Jason, I don't think you're supposed to leave your car there." "I don't care. I wanna make sure you get to your right flight and that you get there safely." He said looking down into my eyes. I rolled my eyes playfully as he carried my suitcase for me as I walked looking for my gate. He followed behind looking around trying to help. Suddenly, the gate caught my attention. Gate 12, Flight 261 heading to Los Angeles, California.

I sighed and already saw my parents sitting in the seats. They saw me and smiled. I smiled back and waved. "Jason, you should really be heading back to your car. You're going to get a ticket or something." "Baby, I don't care. I'm staying here until you board your flight." I pulled my phone out of my pocket for a moment to look at the time. 6:57pm. "Jason my flight boards in like 3 minutes. You might as well leave now." I said. He shook his head not budging. Suddenly, speaking of boarding, a woman on the P.A. started talking.

"Flight 261 to Los Angeles, California now boarding." Jason looked more heartbroken than ever. I looked up at him and his expression became soft. "I guess this is it huh?" He asked. "No, that sounds like we'll never see each other again. How about....see you soon?" I grinned. He smiled and nodded. "Yeah, see you soon." I looked at him again but this time I broke down into tears. He pulled me into a hug calming me down. "Shh, baby it's alright. It's only a month like you said." He calmed, rubbing my back.

"I know but I don't know if I can do it. I love you too much." He lightly chuckled. "I love you too, but I'll be here when you get back I promise." He lifted my head up with his finger and placed his soft, pink lips onto mine. He left them there for awhile before pulling away. "Call me as soon as you land alright?" He smiled big. I giggled. "I will, I promise." I gave him one last peck on the lips before walking to my parents. My mom rubbed my back also trying to calm me. I guess they saw me and Jason.

Before walking into the terminal, I turned around to see Jason looking down at his feet. He looked up to look in my eyes, he smiled and waved. I waved as well and blew him a kiss, him pretending to catch it. I smiled and walked into the entrance to the plane. As soon as I took my seat by the window, my mom sat next to me and then my dad.

"You really love that boy don't you?" She whispered in my ear. I looked down and smiled. Then I glanced at her. "Yeah, I do." I smiled. "I can tell. You didn't want to leave him." I scoffed. "Yeah, I know. I made a fool out of myself." I blushed. "Aw sweetie, you really didn't. People around us were in awe of your little scene." She smiled.

"Really?" "Mhm, you should've seen them. It was adorable." She paused for a moment and smirked. "What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "I may have even took a video." "Mom..." I scowled as my face reddened. "What!? It was cute!" "Okay okay. No more talking about that." I said waving a hand. I looked out the window as the plane took off and Las Vegas got smaller and farther away.
