OKAY I JUST WANNA SAY THIS IN ADVANCE BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE HONESTLY JUST SO JUDGEMENTAL AND FEEL THAT THEY NEED TO JUDGE EVERYTHING IN A NEGATIVE WAY. so first things first. do not comment anything negative about my story, specifically this chapter. i post what i want in my stories when i want. so dont be commenting saying 'omg wtf' and stuff. just dont. im the writer, i chose what happens. okay carry on.

So I would say that it’s been about to almost a week since Jason’s tried talking to me. I’ve just been beyond exhausted. I’ve been sick all week and it’s been horrible. My mom took me to the doctor and they said that I had a mild case of food poisoning. I didn’t really mind because I knew it would eventually go away. But just wait a minute, that’s what I thought the day they diagnosed me of it. Which was a day or so after it started. They said it would last a few days at the most but it’s been over a week. This may be too soon to jump to conclusions but I couldn’t possibly be pregnant right? No, no. I don’t know what I’m talking about. But I have been eating more than usual, even with the throwing up and what not. I need to shut up. I can’t be pregnant. But maybe I should at least be sure right?

I thought for a few more minutes before standing up and changing into some lazy clothes which included sweatpants, a sweater and a knitted beanie to hide my messy hair. I walk downstairs and grab my car keys off of the kitchen counter and walk outside to my car hopping inside. ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this.’ I mumble to myself shaking my head and start the car up heading to a local drug store. I tap my fingers against the steering wheel nervously. I don’t know why I am so nervous! I’m not even pregnant most likely. Just making sure. I take a deep breath and park the car getting out. I lock the doors and walk inside pulling my sweater sleeves over my hands.

I sigh and walk down the aisle where they kept all the tests and medical things. I stare at the tests, hesitant to grab any. I finally decide to grab a box with three tests inside. I walk up to front desk waiting in line. If I am pregnant, I don’t know if I should be happy or not. I mean I’ve always wanted to have a child of my own. Especially with Jason..before he did what he did. I take a deep breath shaking the thought off and walk to the register. I set them on the counter as I pull out my wallet. “That will be $12.38.” The middle age women says after ringing it up. I hand her the money as I take the bag. “Good luck, sweetie.” She smiles at me. I can’t help but smile and thank her. I walk back to my car and drive back off to the house.

I walk into the house closing the door behind me. I see my mom walk in from the kitchen. “Hi honey. Where did you go? You’re supposed to be resting.” She says looking at me. I sigh and decide to just tell her the truth. I’m tired off all the lies lately. “I-I bought..tests.” I say slowly. “I just wanna be safe, you know. Just to be sure.” I say glancing up at her. “Oh sweetie.” She whispers and walks to me giving me a big hug. “If you think I’m gonna be mad at you because of this, I’m not. You and I both know that I was also a teen mom. I had you younger than you are now. I had you when I was 17. I thought I would regret it but you are the biggest blessing I’ve ever had. So don’t think I’m going to judge you, darling.” She says kissing my forehead.

“Go take the tests. If two of the three are positive, I’ll take you to the doctors.” She says. I nod and take the bag walking upstairs into my bathroom. I close the door behind me and stare at the box again. I carefully open the box and open all of the tests taking them out from their wrappers and set them on the bathroom countertop. I take a deep breath before sitting on the toilet and start taking the tests. I will admit, this is an odd way of taking a test in my opinion but oh well. I wait patiently and finish them setting them back down. I stand back up and read the directions that were in the box. It says that I have to wait at least 10 minutes. I inhale and exhale stressfully pacing the floor. Honestly, half of me wants, no, needs to tell Jason about this. But then the other half of me doesn’t want to tell him because of how big of an asshole he is so never mind. I snap out of it and look down at the tests.

I put a hand over my mouth with tears welling up at my eyes. They were all positive. Not two out of three, not one out of three or none. All of them were. I’m pregnant..with Jason McCann’s baby. “So what are they?” My mom asks curiously. peeking her head in the room. I look at her smiling widely. “Mom..I’m pregnant.” I say breathlessly smiling. She flashes me a smile and hugs me tightly. “Baby, I’m so happy for you.” She says kissing my cheek. I think for a minute. ‘I need to tell Jason.’  My mom pulls away. “Let’s go see if the doctors can check you out.” She says as we walk downstairs together.

About two hours later of waiting in the waiting room, I finally was able to get checked out by a doctor. They took my blood and tested on that. That was another positive leading to me being pregnant. And oh lord, I was. My new doctor, who was named Mrs. Collins, said I was almost one month pregnant already. I just didn’t start getting symptoms until later. I was now sitting in the car from having lunch with my mom. I texted Zak asking him if I could come over. I was just waiting for a reply. I want to at least tell the guys. They’re just as close to me as Jason is. Or was anyways. My phone buzzes in my hand. “Sure, Jason isn’t here. He’s out doing errands and shouldn’t be back for another hour.” I read to myself. I turn my head towards my mom. “Can you drop me off at Jason’s house. I need to talk to the guys.” She nods without asking any questions. ”Of course, should I pick you up?” I shake my head. “No, I’ll just have Zak bring me home.” I say. She nods as she drops me off at the house.

I get out and go to the front door knocking on it. The door opens to Zak. I smile instantly seeing him. I haven’t seen him since that night. He lets me in and I hug him tightly, my face buried in his chest. He chuckles and hugs me back. I lift my head up and see the rest of the guys. I smile widely and run over to them, giving them each a big hug. “I missed you guys so much.” I whisper softly. They all smile. “Trust us, we missed you too kiddo.” Zak smiles. “So what brings you here so suddenly?” Andrew asks. I look at them. “Well that’s kinda what I wanted to talk to you about.” I sigh as they all sit on the couch. I sit by them. “Honestly, I’m just gonna spit it right out.” I say looking towards them. “I am pregnant with Jason’s kid.” I blurt out fumbling with my fingers.

They all stay silent. “A-Are you serious? I’m gonna be an uncle!” Alex shouts throwing his fists in the air. Ben slaps him in the back of the head. “Please shut up.” He mumbles. I giggle looking over at them. “Are you excited? Like to be having a kid?” Zak asks. “Of course, I honestly couldn’t be happier. And I know I’m going to have to tell Jason sooner or later but I don’t know when. I really wanna-” I was cut off by the front door opening. I stay still and stop talking knowing it was Jason.

“Baby?” Jason says from behind me. He sounds tired and as I turn around he looked just as tired. I hear the guys quickly walk out of the room. I look at him and feel somewhat guilty. I stand up and walk towards him. His face looks slightly thinner by his cheeks and he had bags under his eyes. “Jason.” I whisper and hesitantly caress his cheek. He looks at me with sad eyes. “I missed you so much. Please come back to me, I need you.” He whispers. I look in his red, tired eyes.

“I miss you too and trust me. I’m pretty sure I need you more, but I can’t come back right now. It’s too soon.” I say softly. “As much as I really don’t wanna do this, we can stick to being friends for now. Okay?” I reassure him. He nods with a little smile placed upon his face. I smile and stand on my tip toes kissing his forehead. “Can you give me a ride home?” I ask shyly. He nods and smiles small. “Of course.”
