Both of the kids started to bawl and it felt like I was under pressure.

I kept pumping and doing mouth to mouth, but it didn't seem like it was working.

"Stop hurting mommy, daddy! Stop!" She kept hitting me.

Quayon sat right by her head as he cried.

I pumped on her chest, one more time, "Please work, and did mouth to mouth.

Her body jolted as all the water splurged out her mouth. She lied on her side while coughing and catching her breath.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Lyric screamed as she cried and coughed. She went and lied right in front of her.

I leaned against the wall and covered my face. I shook my head as tears ran down my face.

The house was awfully quiet and no one communicated. I wiped the tears off and looked at them on the floor.

"Midnight?" I said after clearing my throat.

Her voice was broken as she responded. "I-I... It wasn't me"

"We almost lost you... Lyric was already blaming me"

She stood still. "I'm sorry" she swallowed her throat.

I moved in closer and rested my hand on her arm. "Why have you been trying to hurt yourself all day?"

She shivered causing Quay to flinch and Lyric to move under her.

"It wasn't me..." Her eyes widened as she said the words.

I looked down at her "What are you saying?"

She slowly turned to face me and her voice was almost gone as she whispered. "Something is forcing me to commit suicide."

I looked up then down at her. In my head I said, "God, help this woman and her craziness." And to her I said "You should get some rest". I gently placed her head on my lap.

She pushed my hand away from her face. "That's how they possess my body. Every time I rest, someone finds me red handed at another attempt."

She started to cry softly and hid her face from me as more tears flowed. I kissed her forehead then rubbed her arms and knuckles.

She moved quickly, sitting on my lap and wrapping her arms tightly around my neck. "I'm scared." She whispered.

I wrapped my arms softly around her waist. "We can get through this" I kissed her neck and looked at the kids, laying on the ground. "But first, the babies need to be in bed, including you."

She shook her head as she looked at the kids on the ground in confusion. "Why are my angels on the floor?" She unwrapped her arms from around my shoulders.

She gently moved off of me and got Quay.

I stood up from the ground and got my baby girl. Midnight wasn't able to get off the ground with him in her arms, so I took Quay from her and bought them both to their beds.

When I got downstairs, there was only one thing on my mind. She was crawling slowly towards the couch then got up and lied there.

"I'm pretty tired" her eyes were heavy and her pigment was a bit washed.
