~Qua' Sean's POV ~

I waited for Midnight at the park for a little over ten minutes, but that didn't mean a thing. I just wanted to see what was up with her and why she called back so soon cause knowing her, she would've called about two days later.

It was a bit windy out for some reason, so I stuffed my hands under my hoodie. I walked over and sat down on a bench underneath a tree.

I started looking around for her until she finally came from the opposite direction with her niece.

I stood up to hug her and took her niece from her hand then sat back down on the bench. Midnight didn't say a word, instead she just rested her head on my shoulder; that's how I knew something was wrong.

My phone rang a bit causing the little girl to take my phone from me. I let her play with it, but removed the password for a bit so she wouldn't lock me out. She barely spoke English, but I understood her well.

Since Midnight wasn't talking to me, I decided to talk to her niece. I forgot her name, but I knew it had something to do with music.

"Harmony..." I said unsurely.

"Home... Harmony home" she looked at me with her big greenish eyes.

I itched my head then tried again "Melody..." I squinted my eyes.

Midnight got off me and just gave me a death stare.

"What?" I asked as I looked away slowly.

She took a deep breath while rubbing her eyes "You forgot her name"

"No I didn't... I'm thinking about new melodies and harmonies"

"How can you forget yo-..." She took in a deep breath and waved it off "her name"

"Naw, what you was gonna say?"

She shook her head and stood up "I haven't ate a thing all day, neither did she except a damn apple"

"Why didn't you feed her?" I stood up next to her and we started walking slowly.

"Lyric wants to be healthy and strong, don't you?" She smiled and pinched her cheeks. She nodded "So she just ate an apple"

"Well let's go eat then" I shrugged and took out my keys.

She shook her head "I barely slept. I only slept like two hours when I was with you then I went home and didn't even see my bed cause I was rushing"

When we got to my car, I sat Lyric on the hood before placing her in the backseat. I wrapped the seatbelt around her a couple times before clipping it in.

"You should've just stayed with me"

"I should've for real. I'm tired as heck" she got in the back seat.

I shook my head and got in the driver's side. I decided to drive to the nearest fast food restaurant which was BK. I went to the drive thru.

"Welcome to Burger King. What can I get for you today?"

"Let me get a kid's meal with the nuggets and apple juice, uh" I lowered my voice "Midninight what you want?"

She didn't say anything. I said it again and the same results. I looked back and realized she was sleeping.

"She go bye bye" Lyric clapped.

I smiled and nodded "Lemme just get two chicken sandwiches and 2 large fries. One coke and water"
