Today was the fourth of July which meant it was my two year anniversary with Dove and she wasn't even here to celebrate with a nigga, but that shit came and left  quick.

"Happy Anniversary Baby, I love you and I miss you and I'll give you the best Anniversary and Birthday gift you can think of. I love you... Call me when you hear this..."

Dove done left that one mediocre ass message on my phone, but I'll just act like I ain't receive it. Today I was just gonna lay back and relax on my day off. No one can take me off my chill.

I stayed in bed and watched old cartoons, like my favorite, Courage the Cowardly Dog. That show is the best man... I always wanted a dog that can say my name as a child.

After a few hours passed by, I heard a knock at my door, like banging to be exact. Its like this nigga needed help. I went to the bathroom and did a basic hygiene routine then headed down to answer.

I looked out the door to see Julian banging like he ain't got no sense.

"Stop banging on yo girl head... She  already lost brain cells" I joked, letting him in.

"Nigga, stop fucking playing with my girl, but I got shits to tell you" this nigga came in here hype as hell... Jumping around like he was gonna spit a verse.

"Let it off your chest!" I stared at the jumping fool.

He plopped down on the couch... "You ever seen Toni daughters?" His eyes widened.

"I don't really remember. Why?" I had my hands in my sweats’ pockets.

He shook his head "Man...I can't tell you the T if you don't know the basics of it"

"Just tell me" I shrugged.

He shook his head again "After the party... I'll let you know foe sho"

"Aight, but I wasn't really trying to go cause my mom having her usual dinner"

He shook his head "Yo mama cut off the dinner. Your pops called me and said she made other plans"

I raised my brow and then quickly went upstairs to grab my phone. I took it off of airplane mode and then all the messages and Missed Calls started to flood in.

I walked down the stairs slowly as I read the message my mom sent me.

"She helping Middy with that party shit" I looked at the phone and then put it in my pocket.

"Oh shit" he looked on the ground and backed up causing me to back up and look around.

"What you seeing?" I looked up at him shaking his head. "You saw your girl brain cells pass by?"

"Stop fucking talking bout my wife when yours a hoe. Bitch aint got no job."

I shrugged "I ain't fucking her no more anyways. We ain't fuck in months now, talking about she a born again virgin"

His eyes widened as he walked around the living room "Okay" he took a seat on the couch.

"Yeah, but why you reacted like that doe like I had roaches?"
