Midnight was really irking my nerves and playing me, but all I want to do is be in her company. I guess that's how she must've felt when she found out I was playing her.

I didn't even mean to treat her like that at the end, I just got caught up in the moment and I knew I fucked up when I woke up and Dove was shining that ring in my face, but that's a different story.

The real important news is today is my birthday and I'm gonna be vibing. You know how it goes, don't party with the hoes.

This was my twenty sixth birthday and I've been through some shit that really got me thinking. I can't party like I'm single or take multiple shots to the head.

This was a white and gold party, for royalty and loyalty, but I can't stand up and say I'm loyal, cause obviously I ain't. I've been thinking bout Midnight to much and it got me using my hands to much.

I was at the club that I rented out to see them fixing up everything to my liking before the time came to have some real fun. I was walking up the stairs to the V.I.P lounge when my phone started ringing. I immediately answered hoping that it was Midnight.

"Hello" I looked around at the lounge

"Happy Birthday baby. I wish you the best and I promise I'll make it up to you once I get there. Only 4 days left"

Thanks, but how's the trip?" I asked her.

"Its wonderful. I met so many new people and even made a couple of friends. My paycheck is looking nifty. I love this job"

I nodded "I can hear it in your voice. Have fun on the rest of your trip"

"Okay, Bye, I love you Sean" after she said that I hung up.

I wasn't actually glad to hear from Dove cause now there was pressure on my shoulders. Now I have about three days to make things right with Midnight again cause I know I just transferred to her bad card.

Since that phone call, I've been trying to reach Midnight all day, but I guess she serious about dude. After about thirty something phone calls to her, I stopped trying.

I headed to Julian house at about four, a little bit tipsy. I was taste testing drinks.

"Hi Blu... J here?" I walked in as she swung the door open.

"He upstairs. Third room to your right"

I nodded and jogged up the stairs. I opened the door to the room and just saw a whole lot of junk everywhere. Half painted walls, holes in walls, plastic bags all over the ground.

"Ok, what's up? Y'all having number three?" I asked as I clapped him up.

"Naw, Gem just want this to be set up as a guest room. She told me to get started, so I got started" he picked up the paint brush "Oh and Happy birthday bro"

I smiled "I'm glad as fuck yooo" I clapped my hands "I might not be getting no cuddy, but this night gonna be worth it. Y'all still coming out to support a brother?"

He nodded "No doubt, bros before hoes" he looked at the door quickly before dapping me.

"You need help?" I grabbed a paint brush and claimed a wall. I didn't have no plans til the night, so I might as well.

At about seven thirty, I was in the shower cleaning off all the paint drops that was on me then after ten minutes, hopped out and brushed my teeth.

I did a little dance as I entered my room with my towel round my waist. My clothes were already laid out on the bed and my smile just grew wider.
