Leave it up to me to make things right. After the fashion show, my feet were hurting and my mind was roaming. I had so many things on my plate and I had so little time to deal with them.

While the kids were sleeping, Toni and I sat up on the balcony drinking wine and eating Lays. We were chit chatting about earlier.

"Why you ain't slap the hoe across her face? She should worry about her own man who tryna act like he don't know me"

I nodded "You should have seen the way he was eyeing me girl. I know I'm sexy, but he just made me feel sexy. You know what I mean?" I looked at her with my glass in hand.

She smiled "Girl you are a mess. You better not start no shit with him cause I will personally beat yo fat ass... literally take some fat out yo ass for mines"

I laughed "Yeah, I know. That's why I'm done with him. That nigga tried me to the max and she just had to show it off. I know I'm single and not married, but I put her ass on check"

She came closer to me "What you told her? The exact words"

"I told the bitch straight up to get her facts straight cause the only thing she got against me is that I took her man from her once upon a time and that I had a man. The reason Carmelo wasn't by my side is cause he getting money"

We just bursted out into laughter at my silly self.

"Omg, if they find out you lied?" She said in a low tone like someone was eavesdropping.

"Girl, they won't. Me and Carmelo are close and if I say something to him, that's what it will be. I can call him right now"

"Call!"

I flipped my hair, sipped a little more then dialed his number. It rung bout four times before he answered in the sexiest tone ever.

"Who this?"

"You ain't care to look at the caller ID" I said with a smile.

"Midnight?" He was silent for a minute "My bad, I just woke up. What's good"

"I wanted to hang out tonight, but I just remembered you have a big game ahead of you, so you can sleep"

"You all the way in Miami though"

"I flew out to Cali yesterday night, and I haven't seen you in a while. I miss you"

Toni was dying in front of me. She was choking on her laughter and doing sloppy kisses in the air.

"Oh word? Where you at? I'll come get you in a few minutes and we can hang for a while"

I told him where I was and then I got ready.

"You gonna get some cuddy. Ooh girl, get it in"

"I'm not having sex tonight... I'm still scared. He can go down if he wants cause he good at that, I'll give that to him"

She smiled "Have a good night and bring some food if y'all don't do nun nasty" she shivered.

After about ten minutes, Carmelo was blowing up my phone then I headed downstairs. He was such a gentleman.

The night was splendid. I really enjoyed the quick taste of the city and he enjoyed the quick taste of me. L.A has a lot to give, including drama.
