Jade had started pacing back and forth in the train car worried for Slade and John had not yet return, from removing the blockage from the tracks to which as she sat down she then spoke through sighs. Its been too long where could they be? what if they got lost out there its a blizzard they could be hurt, we should go out and find them I can't just sit here and do nothing they may need help. As Jade said this she began tightening her grip on the train seat, to which Ashley had then come over with some hot coffee and handed her a cup as she replied. Don't worry Jade their both two strong guys I'm sure their just fine, after all we don't need to go out there and add unnecessary risk to ourselves I'm sure they'll be back soon.  Ashley said this before putting her hand on Jade's shoulder, to which as Jade had looked out the window into the raging storm she replied. I know Ash you're right we'd be just as stuck as they are if we go out there its just I really do love him, and he's been through so much that I just worry for him sometimes. Jade said sighing to which Ashley had took a sip of her coffee, before glancing out the window as she then spoke. Now Jade you don't just  have some ordinary man as your lover you have Slade Bolin he's a legend, and has been through it all just as you and I highly doubt a snowstorm is going to do him in. Ashley said this to which Jade stood up placing her coffee to the side as she then started examining her pistol before speaking. That is very true Ash after all he did save my life numerous times and has seemed to come back unscathed, I don't know what's wrong with me i've never felt this way before. She said this grunting and slumping back in her seat to which Ashley nodded, before a smirk came over her face as she replied. That's what love does to you a confusing thing isn't it?, we we're trained for many things except that and If anything else I know he's more worried about losing you then you losing him. She then chuckled as a small smile had crossed Jade's face, as she then put her hand on Ashley's shoulder and thanked her for the advice. Just then the door to the train flew open as in came John holding up a limping Slade covered head to toe in snow, as the girls had then rushed over to them from their seats as John slammed the door. Oh my God are you two alright? what happened out there is Slade okay?, Ashley said to which John responded. We're alright now we had a run in with a pack of wolves while removing the blockage, Slade got banged up pretty good but he's alive well besides being chilled to the bone and a gashed leg. He said this to which they began taking off their gear as Ashley had then, rushed to grab a first aid kit for Slade's leg from the adjoining train car as Jade stood by helping him remove his snow gear. Taking off his mask and goggles Jade became alarmed, by the now fresh scar under Slade's eye as she spoke. Your face! that scar looks too deep you need stitches now, fucking wolves among other things that could possibly go wrong tonight for crying out loud. She said this gritting her teeth to which as Ashley had quickly reentered with the kit Slade had grabbed a bottle of whisky, from the cabinet and pours some of it on his face winching slightly before taking a few sips as he then speaks up. Whisky awful tasting shit but it does numb the pain, and warms the bones can't say the same for those wolves left their carcasses out there to freeze.  As he says this he then props up his leg as Jade rushes and grabs a blanket from a nearby seat, and quickly wraps it around him much to his surprise as she speaks again. Take this blanket and wrap it around your shoulders then hold me you're as cold as ice you may have slight hypothermia, here let my body heat warm up your chest your arms and legs will take care of themselves when you're warmed up I'll patch you up. As she had held him close Slade had indeed felt the immense warmth, of Jade's embrace  to such a degree that the pain of his scar had all but diminished. He had felt calm in her arms as she slightly tightened her grip on him which he sensed, while also feeling the softness of her black silk like hair against his face. He took notice of how this hug in particular felt different from the ones before that she was truly worried about him, for she had put her entire self her emotions and true feelings into this hug alone. To which Slade overcome with new found feelings for her had lowered his guard, and allowed his emotions to take over kissing her right in front of John and Ashley as John spoke up. Well its about damn time that you two had become one thought that it would never happen, heh looks like I owe some people a few rounds back home if you mind my saying sir. Both of them looked on still surprised  but happy as he proudly nodded before kissing her again, for they had never seen Slade kiss anyone before let alone Jade but deep down they knew that the two harbored feelings for each other. The feeling of her lips against his had all but numbed Slade of the pain, from the wolf attack for it had been a kiss that required no words as the act alone was an assurance of their love. I'm happy you're okay beloved come on up you get lets fix you up now alright? easy Jade said before helping him up to his feet. As he rose to his feet Slade had tried to put weight on his leg, to which after a few stumbles he then began to walk on his own as he moved to find a mirror to inspect the severity of his scar. As he looked in the mirror Slade saw a clearly visible scar below his eye, with a little blood in his beard to which he then sighed as Jade spoke up from behind him. Its not really that  bad just needs a few stitches could have been worse, you could have lost your eye if it was a few more inches up jade had said to which Slade nodded in agreement. Indeed this scar will now add to my legacy and will serve as a reminder of natures trials he said turning to face her. Just then the train had jolted and started to move slowly, as the whistle had began to blow loudly to which Slade grinned as he walked over to the window as Jade joined him. Looks like the train is fixed and that we're back on track huh? she said, to which Slade nodded before holding her close as he then replied while continuing to glance out the window. Yes love back on track and on our way to London and whatever is in store for us there, but first I need to rest to regain my strength it'll be hours before we arrive and it'll do me good. With that Jade had again wrapped her arm around Slade and began to help him into their personal quarters, to rest up as the train was now on a smooth ride to London.
