Chapter Nineteen : The Plan

The next morning was filled with thoughts and questions as Slade knew the Master Templar was in fact in London, though they all didn't know of how to find and kill him and thought of how they would go about doing it without lots of attention. I have him, I found him Ashley said bursting through the door surprising everyone. Wait what who did you find Ash? news on our Templar I'm trusting?, Jade said walking into room with food for everyone to which she sat down as Ashley continued. Yes indeed I was taking a walk this morning when I overheard two men discussing something, you may find rather interesting Ashley said before taking a bit out of her food before continuing. And as luck would have it I heard one of them say "The Master Templar Germane Von Hoenheim, will be at the Royal Ball in a few weeks" Ashley said finishing which caused Slade to stroke his beard and think for a bit before speaking. Germane Von Hoenheim ? why does that name sound so familiar?, he said pondering the thought as deep down the name sounded familiar yet he couldn't place it as Jade soon replied. Well we now know one thing our master Templar now has a name, and he is supposed to be at this royal ball or whatever its called but that leaves one factor to figure out Jade said sitting down. Which is where this so called ball is supposed to take place, no doubt it will be somewhere quite fancy seeing as its a ball and all, that and its one being hosted by Royalty no less John said finishing his coffee as Slade then spoke up. Leave that to me I'll go out and ask around maybe someone knows where this ball is supposed to be, he replied before grabbing his coat and heading out. Within a few hours as the rest of the team are getting officially settled into their new temporary base the doors open, As Slade soon returns with news as he hangs up his cloak much to the rest of the eagerly awaiting group. Okay everyone listen up due to recent concerns from the authorities no doubt caused by the Templars, the Ball has been moved from a few weeks to tomorrow night according to various sources, and we will be going and I will end this once and for all Slade said to which everyone agreed Jade replied. I'm not at all surprised after all we didn't exactly enter the city at full discretion thanks to them, the very prospect of Assassins in London are sure to rile up most at best, However with this updated news we have to prepare and with all due haste Jade said getting up as Slade continued. Yes we will need invites and outfits for the Ball, it's supposed to be held at the Buckingham Palace he said returning to his seat at the table as Ashley then looked at him surprised before speaking. Whoa wait hold on the Buckingham Palace? that's not just some run of the mill castle, it wont be easy getting in there I'm certain that security is going to be real tight. Indeed the very same which means this will be a stealth mission so no guns, hidden blades only we do not want to arouse too much suspicion until we assassinate Germane lest he get away, Jade replied to which Slade sat down and stroked his beard once again before speaking to them all on the plan. Seeing as we now have all the information we need the plan is settled then, I will finalize the finer details later but here are our current tasks for each of us to carry out, Jade you will provide the garments for us to wear at the ball something fancy as to blend in with everyone else, and Ash you'll secure invitations by any means you see fit however those are the most important without those we don't get in, as for me and John we'll arrange for the proper transportation no doubt the Templars will remember my car seeing as how easily they targeted us earlier Slade said getting up as Jade then continued. Hmm I'm sure there has to be some old clothes lying around here we can use, if its one thing Lestrade's know its how to dress for formal occasions  I'll have look around and see what I can find, she said before leaving the room followed by everyone else. And with that everyone left to do their own jobs, in anticipation of tomorrow night's royal ball where Slade will confront Germane and finally put an end him.
