So this goes to my mother. She is so nice, so smart, and the best writer I've ever heard of. Her poetry brings me to tears, and her writing gives me the chills!!! I love her with all my heart. She is so talented and I cannot wait to see her as a winner of the Watty Awards for her amazing story, The Entertainment. Seriously kids, check it out. Turns out I wasn’t the only one in our group who was invited. Rosalie was too. No matter how many times I tried to avoid it, something told me not to go. And I knew Rosalie shouldn’t go, either. But she wanted to go, and she wanted me to go with her.
And I couldn’t say no if a possible friend ask me to… So, I finally obliged. Before I knew it, it was the day before the party. I haven’t even bought Lee a present. If only I could get her some magic nice cream. Sadly, that doesn’t exist. I’m gonna probably get her twenty dollars or something like that…
The party was at Lee’s house, something unusual for Lee since rumor has it that her parties are at night clubs or something. Yet another reason why this party seemed like a bad idea to me. Maybe I’m just being paranoid. Or maybe I was being safe. I just didn’t know what to do. Something told me to tell Rosalie I couldn’t go…
But when Rosalie invited me to get ready at her house, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. So, it looks like I’m going to some huge party. Great. Thinking about how to look and what to wear, I walked to the bathroom. God, I’m turning into one of them….
