Christmas Get Together

Scott drives Allison and his mom up to San Francisco for the family get together that his mom's family is throwing for Christmas, he has a small surprise for Allison as well.

DAY 4:

Scott heard Allison sigh again from the back seat. Melissa had fallen asleep a while ago. As they got closer to San Francisco the snow got thicker. Scott knew that Allison must be uncomfortable, she was around five months pregnant now and she didn't like sitting in one place for very long. It hurt her back.

"Not much longer beautiful." He said softly. He looked in the rearview mirror and saw Allison smiling back at him.

"Thanks hun." Allison replied. "I'm sorry, I'm just really uncomfortable."

"I know, and you don't have to be sorry. I'm sure if I was lugging a baby around in my stomach and hade to drive for five hours, I would be uncomfortable too." Scott smiled fondly. Allison laughed. "Why dont you take a nap, I'll wake you when we get there." He saw Allison nod before curling up in the backseat.

"Melissa, Scott! Its been so long since we've seen you. Scott, look how much you've grown..... and who's this lovely young lady?!" Scott's aunt Lucille exclaimed. Allison stuck out her hand and shook Lucille's.

"I'm Allison, Scott's girlfriend." Allison smiled. Not for long, Scott thought as they headed inside. Not much happened for the rest of the night. They said hello to everyone, Scott got his cheeks pinched a few times, played with the kid's. Allison talked with the women and helped out in the kitchen. Then it was time to open presents.

"I think Scott should go last." Melissa said. She gave Scott a knowing look and he nodded. Everyone opened presents and screamed in joy and laughed and smiled. Scott waited patiently for his turn to come. He only had two presents. One from Lucille and one from his grandma. Finally it came to his turn.

"I have two presents to give tonight." Scott announced. He stood up and walked a box over to his mom, seeing as how the presents his mom had given out had both of their names on them. Then he went over to where Allison was sitting. "I've loved you since I met you in sophomore year and I don't think I'll ever stop. You'll always be the love of my life and I don't know what I'd do with out you.

"You're amazing and you've stuck with me through the really good times and the really bad times. We've fought, broken up, gotten back together, our love coming back stronger and stronger every time we were away from each other, only making it harder and harder to stay mad at each other. And now, here we are, our last year of college, you're having my baby and I could ask for nothing more, except," Scott slowly lowered himself onto one knee. "Will you marry me?"

Allison's face showed a lot of emotions all at once. She looked happy, shocked, embarrassed, and loving, all at once. The she started crying and nodded her head repeatedly. Finally she found her voice. It was watery and shaky but the words that left her mouth were all Scott ever wanted to hear.

"Yes, god yes Scott. Of course I'll marry you." Allison said as she pulled him into a kiss. He slid the ring on her finger before pulling her into a tight hug. He looked over at his mom and realized she had been recording the whole thing. He groaned internally, she was going to ask Stiles to set everything up and sure enough, at the wedding and all over Facebook, this video would be posted. Thank god he asked Chris for Allison's hand.
