Scott didn't end up calling Alison until the end of the week. He wasn't really sure if the call would be welcome with how Alexis has reacted to him when she first saw him. He was fairly surprised when Allison sounded pleased on the other end of the phone. Scott set it up so that they could meet the next day for coffee. Alexis would be joining them even if he knew she would be less then pleased to come.

Scott couldn't sleep that night, no matter what he tried. He was too anxious about the upcoming coffee date. Well it wasn't really a date, sort of a family meeting. Even if Scott still wasn't 100% positive if Alexis was his or not. He still wanted to be there for her. Even though he knew that Allison was more then capeable to handle her own daughter, just like she had been for the last 16 years, he still wanted to be there to help where he could. And he had a suspicion that Alexis may be a werewolf, then Allison might need a bit of his guidance. Or maybe not, she had raised Alexis this far on her own.

Once Scott had gotten up for the day, with only four hours of sleep under his belt, he knew that the coffee he was going to get would be very welcome. So as soon as it hit 8:30, Scott grabbed his keys and got into his car. He drove over to the coffee shop, which only took around ten minutes, and still had time to spare. So he ordered a coffee and sat at a table to wait. It would give him more time to wake up anyhow.

Allison walked in shortly after nine with a very reluctant looking Alexis by her side. She smiled and waved when she saw him. She got into line with Alexis, ordered drinks, and then headed over to the table to wait.

"Its really nice to see you Scott." Allison smiled at him.

"You literally saw him last week." Alexis huffed as she took the seat closest to the window. She looked out the window, ovbiously not wanting to be a part of their conversation unless it was to offer a snarky comment. She reminded him of a teenaged female version of Stiles.

"Alexis. I told you to behave. Which I shouldn't even have to do in the first place. You're 16. Act like it." Allison snapped. Alexis looked like she's rather be anywhere but sitting with them.

"Sorry." she didn't even sound close to being sincere.

"Its okay. I totally get it." Scott nodded. "So, how have you been Allison?" Scott asked softly. Allison ran a hand through her long hair before pausing.

"I've been pretty good. A little while after I moved to France I had Alexis. Then when she was five we moved to Rome. And then Italy after that. We decided to travel a lot, I home schooled her." Allison explained.

"She also trained me on how to fight werewolves." Alexis said with a glare in his direction. Allison looked ready to scold her again but Scott interrupted.

"Did she teach you how to interact with werewolves?" Scott asked. Alexis seemed to falter.

   "Well... yes."

"And did she teach you how to tell the difference between werewolves? Like if one is an Alpha or Beta or Omega?" Scott asked.

"Yeah, she did." Alexis looked at him curiously.

"How well did you pay attention?" he asked her. Alexis seemed offeneded by this.

   "Well enough." she ground out.

   "What am I?" he asked.

"Excuse me?" Alexis seemed at a loss as for what to do next. Allison was laughing behind her coffee.

"I asked you if you can tell which I am. Am I an Omega? An Alpha? Beta?" Scott was amused as well. This girl had no idea how to deal with real werewolves. She hid behind the ones she met in ink. The books always thought they explained all there was to explain about werewolves, but boy were they wrong.

"Mom..." Alexis trailed off, giving her mom a pleading look.

"Answer him Alexis, if you know so much." Allison laughed. Alexis glared and sat up straighter in her chair.

"You're a beta." she didn't seem confident in her answer. Both he and Allison laughed.

   "Wrong." Allison said.

"You can't be an Alpha." Alexis huffed.

"You're right, I'm not an Alpha." Scott smiled at her.

"So you're an Omega then." Alexis nodded. Scott shook his head.

"I never said that." Scott smirked.

"Then what are you?" Alexis seemed too confused to even guess anymore.

"A true Alpha." Scott replied. Alexis's eyes widened.

"Mom, I thought they were a myth. I didn't think that true Alpha's existed." Alexis gasped. Allison smiled.

"Oh they definetly do." she smiled. "How about we meet up with Scott again. You ovbiously have more to learn Alexis." Allison smirked. Alexis nodded. Not fully warmed up to Scott, but she didn't seem to hate him anymore.

"Sure, yeah. See you later Scott." Alexis said as she stood from her chair. Allison smiled and waved at him as both women left. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
