Allison is in an abusive relationship when she meets Scott McCall. What happens when Scott finally notices what's happening behind closed doors?

Matt Daehler wasn't like this in the beginning. He was a gentleman, opening doors for Allison and buying her flowers, taking her out on fancy dates. But then after a month or two, he started to degrade her. When she'd get seconds for dinner he'd ask her if she was sure she really needed more. Allison never had a problem with her weight before then. When they'd go out and Allison wore a new outfit, he would ask her if she really wanted to wear that in public, when she'd say she bought it specifically for that night he'd tell her not to waste her money anymore. Allison began to feel self conscious about her clothes, always asking if what she was wearing looked okay before she'd even step out the door.

When he started to get violent she realised something was wrong. But by now she was so far into this relationship that she couldn't get out of it. Her best friend Lydia noticed the bruises and told her she needed to end things. She had said she knew and she would, but a month went by and she was still with Matt. He would hit her when she did something wrong, which she never did. Then he'd apologise and buy her a gift or take her out. Her dad began to notice the hand sized bruises as well and told her she should probably end it. But she couldn't. She was too scared.

Allison sat down at a table in the coffee shop by her work. She worked just down the street at a big law firm. She was a lawyer, and she was proud of that. She got up when they called out her order but was surprised when somebody else reached for it at the same time.

"Oh, I'm sorry, go ahead, I'll wait." The guy said. Allison grabbed the coffee and turned to the guy with a smile that faltered a bit when she noticed how good he looked. He was tan with unruly black hair and the most amazing warm brown eye's. The only visible flaw was his jaw, it was slightly crooked, but in a cute way. He instantly reminded her of a puppy.

"I'm Allison Argent." She said as she stuck her hand out to him. His eye's widened as he shook her hand.

"Scott McCall." He said as he stared at her. "I'm sorry but are you the Allison Argent, the big time divorce lawyer who's won over a hundred cases and isn't even 27 yet?" He asked in awe. She smiled and laughed at his enthusiasm.

"Yes I am in that Allison Argent." She said. He smiled wider but turned away when his, most likely her, coffee was called.

"I'm sorry, I've gotta run, but maybe I'll see you around?" He asked as he ran to the door. She waved.

"Maybe." She mumbled as she made her way to work.

"Wow, that's a shiner, how'd you get that?" A familiar voice asked. Allison was shopping in the grocery store. She hadn't had a chance to get any more concealer and she had a nasty black eye. Allison looked up and laughed nervously when she saw Scott.

"Oh I ran into my bathroom door, it was like five in the morning and I didn't realise the bathroom door was only half open. I'm quite clumsy, especially in the morning." Allison explained. She was not about to tell Scott that her boyfriend of two years punched her because she didn't have dinner ready when he got back home that night. Scott looked like he didn't quite believe it but laughed a bit as well.

"Sounds like it. Well, I have to go find my friend before he tries to put the whole candy aisle into the cart." Scott said with a warm smile and he walked off with a wave. Allison quickly rushed to check out. She had to go get some concealer.

"Hey! Long time no see." The voice that was way more familiar then it should be by now said. She was once again at the grocery store.

"Hey Scott." Allison said as she waved to him. Scott looked surprised as he walked up and grabbed for her arm. She flinched and his eye's softened a bit as he slowly grabbed her arm and turned it around. There was a dark bruise in the shape of a hand. Scott looked at her curiously. "I almost fell off my bed and my friend grabbed my arm." Allison tried. Scott scoffed.

"Why are you still with him?" Scott asked softly. Allison and looked away.

"Because I can't break up with him." Allison sighed.

"You're too scared." Scott stated. Allison glared and pulled her arm back.

"My friend is a police officer, if you want, I can have him go to your house when you're ready to break up with him." Scott suggested. Allison gave him her number before heading home again.

Allison sent a text to Scott as soon as she woke up. She was ready to break up with Matt. A few minutes later she got a text from Scott telling her that his friend was on his way and his phone number. Allison got a text from said number saying that they were at her house and to text if she needed him. She texted back an okay before she waited for Matt to wake up. When he woke up he looked beyond pissed that breakfast was not on the table.

"Where's breakfast?" He asked.

"We need to talk." She said softly. He sat down across from her with a curious.

"It's more important then breakfast?" Matt asked. Allison sighed.

"Yes Matt, it is." She said. Matt stayed quiet, waiting for her to talk. "Matt, its over." She said. She noticed Matt getting upset and quickly texted Scott friend that she needed him.

"What do you mean its over?" Matt asked.

"I mean I'm breaking up with you." Allison said softly. Matt stood up and raised his hand just as someone knocked on the door. Matt looked pissed as he walked to the door and answered it.

"Who are you?" Matt asked rudely.

"Officer Stiles Stilinski. I'm here to talk to Ms. Argent." Stiles said as he pushed past Matt and walked in to the kitchen. "Allison?" Stiles asked. She nodded. "Alright, got pack your thing's I won't let him touch you, take your time." Stiles said with a soft smile. She smiled thankfully as she ran upstairs and packed up all the essentials and all of her clothes and left the thing's she didn't need. When she made her way back downstairs Matt was glaring at her.

"This isn't-" he started but she cut him off.

"This is Matt. This is over, so forget about it. We're over." She said as she and Stiles walked out the door, and she didn't look behind her.

Allison and Scott started dating shortly after that. Scott was good to her. He didn't yell at her or hit her or degrade her. She went through therapy to help get through what Matt had done to her. Scott was there the whole time. Even a year later when Allison found out she was pregnant Scott still stayed and never got upset. Allison was glad they ordered the same coffee that day. It changed her life for the better.
