Scott was texting Allison off and on for weeks but they hadn't gotten to having a second date yet. Scott wanted to talk with Allison a little more before he tried to go any farther with her. And maybe have a bit of a better relationship with his... possibly his daughter. He wanted her to at leaste like him a little. Or maybe just a bit.

Scott was out with Derek, just checking out the perimeter of the Hale pack lines, just to make sure there wasn't a threat. But there hadn't been a threat for a long time. Scott was surprised when he got a text from Allison asking if he could watch Alexis for a little while tonight. She apparently had some buisness to take care of in the next town over and didn't want to leave her alone. Scott of course agreed.

"What was that?" Derek asked. Scott gave a small shrug.

"Allison asked me to watch Alexis tonight. She's going out of town and doesn't want to leave her alone." Scott explained.

"Are you really sure you can handle taking care of a kid who doesn't even like you?" Derek asked. Scott shrugged again.

"She kind of likes me a tiny bit. After the little coffee date with Allison and Alexis together, she kind of warmed up to me. And she could possibly be my daughter. I don't want to have a bad relationship with her. She hasn't seen me for 16 years of her life. I want to be there now, even if she isn't mine." Scott said softly.

"Whatever Scott, its you funeral." Derek laughed. "Go ahead, I'll take care of the rest of this."

"Alright. Thanks dude." Scott smiled and ran back to his car. He didn't know if he needed to pick Alexis up or if he was watching her at Allison's place, so he guessed he would find out when he got there.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice. I really appericiate this Scott, you can stay here with her. I'm sure she would be more comfortable here. There's food in the fridge, Alexis has money if she wants to order in. She knows the rules. Don't let her act controlling. She also isn't allowed out tonight, so do not, under any circumstances, let her leave." Scott nodded at all of Allison's directions.

"Okay, got it. Food in the fridge, she has money, don't let her leave." Scott repeated. Allison sighed and pulled him into a hug.

"Seriously, thanks a million Scott. You can sleep in my room. She can show you if you can't sniff it out." Allison grabbed a duffel bag and her jacket. "Honestly, I don't know what I would do without you."

"Probably call Lydia." Scott laughed. Allison gave him a wary smile.

"Probably." she hugged him one more time before she walked to the bottom of the stairs.

"Alexis, Scott is here. You know the rules. Do not break them." Allison called.

"Got it mom!" Alexis called back. Scott smiled.

"Be safe Allison." Scott said. Allison smiled at him warmly and walked to the door.

"I will be. Good luck Scott." she said like she knew something he didn't. He nodded and locked the door once she was gone. This was going to be a long night.

Halfway through the night, Scott looked out the window, only just now noticing that it was a full moon. He was oddly surprised he didn't feel the pull. Scott shrugged to himself and walked away from the window, letting the curtains close. He was walking toward the kitchen to get something to eat when he heard strangled groaning. He looked up at the ceiling, wondering if he should check up on Alexis or not. It was only 10:30, she might not have gone to bed yet.

"Hey Alexis, you alright up there?" he called out. He heard a muffled scream and knew that he needed to check on her. He hurried up the stairs and barged into Alexis's room without knocking. Alexis was on the ground holding her head and letting out quiet groans. "Alexis?" he asked hesitantly.

Her head shot up and Scott took a step back in surprise. Her eyes were glowing a bright yellow and she had fangs pointing out of her half open mouth, she also had hair growing on the sides of her face. She was wolfed out, because apparently she was a were. Allison seemed to have forgotten to metion that little tid-bit. Scott was screwed.
