I Don't Have A Title For This

Allison and Scott have Christmas dinner with Allison's mom and Dad.

DAY 18:

Allison sighed as she got ready in her room. She was nervous about tonight's dinner. She and Scott had been dating for over two years now and the only dinner they had together with family was when her dad found them in the garage. She wasn't really in the mood to deal with her parents interrogating her boyfriend.

Downstairs the doorbell rang out in a cheery toon that didn't really match the way she was feeling. She took a deep breath and looked in the mirror one more time to make sure she looked okay before heading down the stairs. Her mom was just reaching for the door.

"I've got it mom!" Allison said as she rushed over. Victoria held her hands up in surrender and walked back into the kitchen. Allison took another deep breath before putting on a smile. She opened the door. "Hey Scott." She said.

Scott looked amazing. He was wearing a dark blue dress shirt and a pair of black dress pants. He was grinning at her nervously.

"Hey Allison." He said as he stepped inside. She gave him a quick kiss before leading him to the living room. Chris gave them both a look as they came in that clearly said "I have wolfsbaine bullets and I know how to use them." Scott laughed nervously.

"Hello Scott." Chris said with a nod. Scott nodded back.

"Mr. Argent." He said stiffly. Chris chuckled.

"Please, call me Chris. You are dating my daughter after all." Chris smiled. The tension in the room seemed to lessen considerably with that. They all sat around and talked as they waited for dinner.

When dinner was finally ready, Allison was feeling way better then she had been before Scott came over. Her parents didn't tell any embarrassing stories either, Victoria made a few comments here and there but Scott and Chris mostly talked pack business.

By the time the night was over, they had already made plans for Scott to come over the next Sunday as well. And Allison was proud to say she wasn't scared at all that her parents would embarrass her.
