"Oliver, you can't have lucky charms. You already picked cocoa puffs." Scott said softly. Oliver was now six and he was a little devil. And Scott loved him like his own even if he wasn't. Scott remembered the day Kira had come to his house and just pushed this small little human into his arms and smirked as she explained what happened. Then she left. And so did everyone else. All he had was his mother, and sometimes the sheriff.
He gets that sometimes Stiles is to busy with him, planning a wedding that is up to Lydia Martin's, soon to be Stilinski's, standards was pretty hard. But he knew Stiles was managing. And Derek and Braden had moved to Mexico and only visited every few months. Liam was who knows where with Kira. And Allison had left with Isaac.
He still loved her. Even when she got with Isaac. Even when she left with him. Even when she stopped returning his texts. Just because they were separated didn't mean they couldn't still be friends. Scott was take what he could get with her.
"But daaaaaaaad." Oliver whined.
"No." Scott said firmly. It was hard to look at him sometimes. Such a perfect combination of Liam and Kira, and such a perfect symbol of how he was rejected once again.
"You're mean." Oliver huffed. He crossed his small arm's over his chest and turned away from Scott. And Scott refused to let him know how much that actually hurt him.
"Put the cocoa puffs back and then you can get lucky charms." Scott sighed. Oliver looked up at him, eye's shining with joy.
"Okay!" Oliver hugged him excitedly. "I love you daddy." He said before he ran off to the cereal aisle. Scott shook his head and continued down his aisle. He wouldn't leave it until Oliver got back, not wanting him to think that Scott had left him. He knew about his parents, and Scott wasn't going to abandon him too.
"Scott?" A soft voice asked from in front of him. Scott didn't have to look up to know who it was. The voice, the smell, the heart beat. Scott took a steadying breath. After being alone for all of these years, its was weird to finally have someone he knew around.
"Daddy, why is your heart beating so fast?" Oliver asked. Scott looked over at the boy. His boy. He didn't want to look at Allison. Didn't want to see what he had lost so long ago.
"I'm happy." He finally looked up at Allison. "This is my friend from a long time ago and I haven't see her in a long time. I'm happy to see her again." Scott lied.
"Oh. Hi, I'm Oliver." Oliver stuck out his tiny hand to shake Allison's. Scott really looked at her now. Her hair was longer now. When they had still been in highschool her hair had been cropped short, up to her shoulders, and now it was almost to her waist. Her eye's were bright as she smiled down at Oliver and talked with him.
"Oh no really, I don't want to impose." Scott looked up at Allison, finally back in reality.
"No, daddy won't mind. Really, right daddy?" Oliver asked. Scott looked down at Oliver.
"I won't mind what?" Scott asked.
"Ms. Allison is gonna come to dinner." Scott's head snapped up to Allison, his eye's wide.
