MERRY CHRISTMAS

Allison and Scott spend Christmas with Alexis and Chris!

DAY 25:

"Daddy! DADDY!" Alexis screamed as she jumped up and down on her parents bed, it was seven in the morning and Chris wasn't up yet. She had woken up too early and couldn't get back to sleep. So she decided to wake up her parents.

Scott and Allison groaned as they were rudely woken up. Scott quickly snatched Alexis out of the air mid jump. He laid her on the bed and covered her mouth. She giggled non stop as he tickled her sides. She pryed his hand off and gasped for breath. Her little seven year old body just shaking with laughter.

"G-Good morning m-mommy, d-daddy." She gasped before going into another fit of giggles. Scott and Allison smiled down at their daughter.

"I'll go start breakfast, wake Chris up please." Allison said as she leaned over and kissed Scott, then kissed Alexis on the forehead before heading downstairs.

"C'mon Lexi. Lets go wake up your brother." Scott said as he pulled himself out of bed. Alexis dashed out of the room and to her baby brothers room. She loved him dearly, he was small and boring as of yet, but she loved him.

When Scott got in the room, Alexis had already slipped her small arm through the bars of Chris's crib and was gently rubbing the babies stomach. Chris was slowly waking up, making soft little noises as he stretched his tiny arms above his head.

"Want to help me change him Lexi?" Scott asked as he walked over. Alexis nodded her head vigorously. Scott smiled and reached down to lift Chris up. He made a soft startled noise before relaxing in his arms. Alexis pulled the step stool over and helped him change her baby brother.

Once they were done changing Chris, they headed downstairs where Allison was already plating pancakes with eggs. Alexis dug right in and so did Scott, albeit a little slower because he was holding Chris in his arms, the infant having fallen asleep again. Allison made sure he had a bottle for when he woke up again before sitting and eating her breakfast.

Alexis was practically vibrating in her seat as she waited for her parents to finish their breakfast.

"Come on, I wanna see what Santa brought me!" Alexis exclaimed as she jumped down from her seat and rushed off to the living room. Scott handed Chris to Allison and followed his daughter. For the rest of the day they spent time with each other and played with presents. Alexis showing most of her presents to Chris even though he didn't have the slightest clue what she was saying or what they were. But it was still one of their best Christmas's
