Chris gives Allison the angel her mother used to put on top of the tree every year.

DAY 15:

Allison smiled when her father opened the door after she knocked.

"Hey dad." She smiled. Scott was at home with their daughter, Allison had a little bit of a break in her schedule so she ran over to give him a visit before she had to head home. He had been asking her over for days after all.

"Hey baby girl. I honestly didn't expect you over with how busy Scott said you've been." Chris said with a grin.

"Yeah, I'm trying to get everything all done this week so that come Monday, I can take a week off and enjoy time with my family and pack." Allison said as she took a seat on the couch.

"I hope that includes me." Chris smirked. Allison laughed.

"No, of course not dad, you're not family at all." Allison said sarcastically. Chris smiled. "Okay, so you've been calling me over for day's, and now that I'm here, you don't seem like you had anything in mind...... what did you need dad?" Chris sighed heavily.

"I want to give you something." Chris said. Allison nodded and watched as Chris got up and ran upstairs. There were a few thumps before a soft "Aha!" drifted down the stairs. Only moments later her father followed. He held a time worn brown box in his hands. It had water stains and the edges looked like they could have seen better day's. Chris had a triumphant smile on his face as he handed her the box.

"Oh.... uhm... thanks dad! I've always wanted an old dusty box from the attic." Allison said and she smiled up at him. Chris huffed but smiled all the same.

"Open it you brat." He said as he took a seat on the couch opposite of her. She gave him a bright smile and opened the box. As she moved the tissue paper aside, she froze and her breath caught in her throat. She looked up at her dad with tears in her eye's.

"D-Dad.... are you r-really giving this to me?" She got out around the lump in her throat. Chris smiled and let a tear fall.

"Its time to start new traditions." Chris said softly. Allison carefully set the box aside and hugged her dad.

"Thank you so much." She whispered. Chris shook his head.

"It was nothing. I don't even put a tree up anymore." Chris replied. "Why don't you head home now, I'm sure Scott and Alexis miss you." Chris said as he patted her on the back. Allison carefully wrapped the box back up and headed home.

That year, on the top of the McCall's Christmas tree, stood a proud angel with long blonde hair, big fluffy wings, and a beautiful white silk dress. The candles in her hands were small Christmas lights. And when ever Alexis saw her she would giggle and say grandma.
