Allison walked into the house, the house she shared with her husband Scott McCall, and sighed. It had been a too long day at work and she was honestly dead on her feet. All she wanted to do was relax and maybe even order dinner from the chinese place in town. She didn't even want to begin to think about making dinner.

She slipped off her shoes and hung her coat on the coat rack. It had been a mild day today, but just like it seemed to do the majority of the time she had spent in Beacon Hills, it had rained off and on. She didn't want to soak her clothes before she even got to work so she grabbed her coat. Allison smiled when looked over at her couch, her comfy, warm, embracing couch. She stopped short when she heard an odd whirring noise though.

Allison looked around her house for the noise, knowing full well that if it were anything dangerous, Scott would have taken care of it by now. She came up short though. She knew that Alexis had asked to got over to Lucas's for a bit, which only left Scott and Chris at home.

"Hey mom." Allison looked up at Chris and Scott as they came downstairs. In Chris's hand was an odd spinning thing, the very thing making the whirring noise.

"What is that?" she asked. Scott came up and kissed her softly.

"A fidget spinner. How was work?" Scott asked.

"Work sucked. Why does Chris have that?" Allison asked. She was ready to throw that thing out the window. It made the most annoying noise.

"Everyone has one now mom. They're supposed to be for like anxiety and kids with ADHD who can't sit still and need something to do with their hands but I really wanted one because they're cool. So dad and I went shopping after school and I bought this." Chris answered. He stopped spinning it for a second to show her the toy. Then he started up again.

"I don't honestly think you need that." Allison huffed.

"I probably don't need it but its fun." Chris shrugged.

"No, Chris, what I'm trying to say is that you really do not need that. The noise its making has me ready to whip it out the window. If you really want to keep it, take it to your room. By the way, if the noise also annoys your sister, I won't be grounding her for destroying that fidget spinner." Allison said as she walked toward the kitchen. Chris laughed and brought the fidget spinner back upstairs.

"Was it really that annoying?" Scott asked as he followed her. Allison rolled her eyes.

"Yes it was really that annoying." Allison aswered. "Where were those things when we were in school with Stiles?"

"I have no idea, but he already had like five of them. He and Derek trade off and on. The kids are jealous because Stiles and Derek won't share with them. But they were nice enough to buy the kids their own. They just have cooler ones." Allison laughed.

"Sounds like A+ parenting to me." she said.

Later that night, Alexis got home just before Allison ordered aything for dinner. She was upstairs for maybe five minutes before there was a loud thump and an indignant scream. Alexis came downstairs seconds later and put something in Allison's hands. With a serious look she said,

"Burn it." Before walking back upstairs like nothing had happened. Allison laughed when she looked down in her hand and found Chris's fidget spinner.

[I myself now own a fidget spinner. I love it, I also think its a good way to calm kids down in a nice way instead of yelling at them when they can't stop moving around.]
