Okay guys, this has kind of gone from Scallison stories to stories about Scallison's children. But you don't mind right? Right. :)
Chris really loved being an older brother. He was 16 now and could handle taking care of himself, which was good considering that Alexis was now 18 and planned on going away to college and moving in with Lucas. It meant that he took on the responsibility of taking care of his five month old little brother. Even when in was inconvenient for him.
"But dad, I have a date with Elliot. We've been planning it for weeks." Chris whined. He knew his whining bothered his fathers ears, but at this point, he didn't care.
"Yes, but Derek needs me to go out of town with him for alpha buisness. I have to settle this or the people in this town might be attacked. And you mom has to come with because she's still a hunter. They want to make sure that she's obiding the rules that were reset a couple of years ago." Scott explained for what seemed to be the hundreth time.
"Dad-"
"Oh my god, shut up Chris." Allison huffed. She didn't usually snap on this kids like this, but he was wearing at one of her nerves. "Just tell Elliot you have to babysit and invite him over. Have your date here." Chris looked happy with this new arangement.
"Can I get paid to watch Eric though?" Chris asked. He already knew the answer though.
"No. Now, we already laid Eric down for his nap, he'll probably wake up in a few hours. You know what to do from there. Don't have sex with Elliot. We love you, be safe. If anything happens, call Derek." Allison said as she grabbed her things. Scott followed her lead and they left the house. Chris smiled and took out his phone to call Elliot.
"Ell? Yeah, 'bout that date..."
"So, your sure its okay with your parents that we're here alone?" Elliot asked again. Chris groaned.
"Yes Ell. My mom suggested it. Its okay." Chris said again. From upstairs he heard Eric start crying. "I'll be right back."
Chris ran up the stairs and to Eric's room. He walked in and up to the little basinet. They palnned to move him to a crib when he got a little bigger. Eric was smaller then most five month olds. Chris reached down and picked up his little brother.
"Do you need to be changed little 'Ric?" Chris checked to see if Eric had pooped or peed and found the infant dry. "Okay, how about the bottle mom left." Chris knew the bottle was still good. He grabbed it off of the changing table and held the nipple to Eric's mouth. Eric cried harder and moved his face away. "What do you want little dude?"
Chris began to bounce Eric lightly. He didn't seem to like that either. Chris's nerves were begining to fray. Alexis had been so good at this when she was here. How on earth did she calm him down so fast. Chris made little cooing noises at him, hoping that would get him to calm down but Eric wasn't having it. Chris searched the room for Eric's binki, hoping that would help, it also didn't. Chris grabbed the stuffed wolf his uncle Stiles had gotten Eric when he was born. Eric didn't like that either.
Chris was running out of options when Elliot appeared in the doorway.
"I don't know why they trusted me with him. I have no idea what I'm doing." Chris cried, close to tears. They were tears of frustration and sympathy for little 'Ric.
"Let me see him." Elliot held out his arms. The moment Chris settled Eric into Elliot's arms he calmed down.
"H-How-"
"I have siblings, remember." Elliot laughed. He looked out the window, then his eyes flashed down to the calm baby in his arms. "Its a full moon tonight, I wonder if that's what go him riled up." Elliot said as he swayed back and forth to keep Eric calm.
"But the moon isn't out yet." Chris said softly.
"Doesn't have to be. If he is a were, then he'd be able to sense it." Elliot said. He smiled down at Elliot, making silling faces to keep his attention occupied while he talked to Chris.
"So that our date was kind of ruined." Chris sighed. Elliot look up at him, his eyes shining in a way that made Chris's stomach flutter for some reason. That had been happening a lot latley.
"It wasn't ruined. I love spending time with you both." Elliot assured. Chris smiled and walked up to him. He slowly pulled him in for a tender kiss that matched the quiet moment in Eric's nursery. He only pulled away when Eric made a displeased noise at being smushed between them. Elliot looked down at him and laughed.
"Guess he doesn't like sharing attention." Elliot smiled.
"Stay the night?" Chris asked suddenly. Elliot directed the bright smile at him next.
"My dad already said I could."
The next day when Allison and Scott got back, they went upstairs to check on Chris and Eric. The house was too silent. Allison smiled and snapped a picture of the scene she had just walked in on. She made sure to send it to everyone.
There on the bed were Eric, Chris, and Elliot. Elliot and Chris had fallen asleep with their foreheads pressed together, holding hands. Eric was in between them, and both boys had a hand protectivly near him. It was a perfect picture. And it might just be the new McCall/Hale family Christmas card. She would definetly suggest it to Stiles.
okay, please don't ever fall asleep with your baby in you bed. Its actually really dangerous. Also, my niece who is around 7 months will only let me hold her. When she goes to someone else, she'll cry until I take her back. Its adorable.
Tell me what you think Elliot and Chris's ship name should be. Chelliot or Eris? Or let me know if you have something different.
And, who's your favorite couple, Alexis/Lucas or Chris/Elliot?
