How to Exfoliate

SCALP
If you have dry scalp or dandruff, exfoliating your scalp can help lower the amount.
Exfoliating your scalp is super easy. all you have to do is massage your wet scalp with Epsom salts in the shower. this can be found in any drug store, is relatively inexpensive, and can be used for all areas of your skin.
Treatments containing Salicylic Acid or Sulfur are another great source for removing dead skin. some good products are:
 -Aveda’s Scalp Remedy Dandruff Solution
 -Mizani Scalp Care Pre-Treatment
 -Neutrogena’s T-Gel Overnight Dandruff Treatment

LIPS
If you have chapped lips (i do) and they've been flaking or have cuts have been opening up on your lips, what you do is really simple. what you do is get some vaseline and spread a little on a soft toothbrush (NOT the one you use to brush your teeth. it's literally impossible to get out) and slowly and gently, especially if you have sensitive lips, just massage your lips. you probably know this but, vaseline can be found in almost any drugstore or supermarket.

BODY
Okay this one is an absolute must. Simply washing your body with soap doesn't even make a dent in the removal of dead skin cells. With this one, because the skin on your body is thicker than the skin on your face, you have a little more variation. You can use the dry brush method (http://skincare.about.com/od/exfoliating/ht/How-To-Dry-Skin-Brushing.htm), buy/make a body scrub (im pretty sure ive seen some body DIY body scub tips somewhere), or simply just use a pouf. Try to exfoliate your entire body, but focas longer on places like your knees and elbows. which are prone to dry skin.

HANDS
Exfoliate your hands just as you would your body, a few times a week. You can do this in the shower with your body scrub or you can use a hand scrub.

FEET
Your feet take a beating basically every day (unless youre a lazyass like me and dont move) and your feet are harder to exfoliate than your body. you can exfoliate them in the shower with your body scrub. you can use a scrub on them 3 to 4 times a week or more depending on your results. You will get best results if you soak them for 15 minutes in Epsom Salts or another foot soak. you can also use a foot file or a pumice stone too work on your feet while your watching TV or soemthing. And remember, the most important thing to remember is to apply a thick, hydrating foot cream after.

FACE
Exfoliating is key to good skin, no matter your skin type, especially when it comes to your face. If you have dry skin, exfoliating helps get rid of the flaky dry skin. If you have oily skin, exfoliating helps reduce breakouts by breaking through the dead skin cells which cause buildup and acne.
You should exfoliate your skin two to three times a week at most using a facial exfoliator or even a simple washcloth. And if you're in the pampering mood, you can always whip up your own super easy facial scrub in your kitcen. ive heard somewhere that the best time to exfoliate is in the morning.its because our skin repairs itself at night. And lastly, to save time, mix in a about a dime-size amount of your favorite facial scrub into your cleanser and do it all at once.
