Convincing Your Parents To Let You Stay Out Later

-ASK THEN WHY-
First of all ask them why you can' stay out late. You'll probably get the typical answer, ''Because I said so'' But its still worth a try.

-GET THEN USED TO IT-
Get them use to the fact that all your friends and people your age stay out late.
Constantly let them know how your friends were out late last night. Don't rub in the fact that you want to stay out late to.

-SHOW THAT YOUR RESPONSIBLE-
Do your homework on time, do you chores, don't argue or fight. Show them that your responsible and mature. If they can see that, they won't have a problem with letting you stay out later.

-NEVER COMPLAIN-
Never ever complain when you get up in the morning that your tired. And try not to look tired either. This will put them off and they'll probably lower your time out instead. Show them that you get sleep, and stay out late. (And really, don't stay out and get 3 hours of sleep)

-COMPROMISE-
Compromise mostly works. (it worked for Bella, and Edward right? :P) Do something for them if they let you stay out later. For example if they extend your curfew, you do more chores around the house. This is up to you.

-WHEN ASKING THEM-

When you ask them to stay out late..
1)Don't press your luck.
Let's say your aloud to stay out till 9pm. When your asking them to stay out later, don't give them a ridiculous time. Like 1 am. Start by half an hour. Ask them if you can stay out till 9:30. Chances are they'll say yes. Then little by little (slowly), over the weeks ask them again and they'll keep raising it.

b) Ask them when it's a good time.
Don't ask them when they come back all stressed from work or something is going on. Ask them when there relaxed and in a good mood.
