French Braid Sock Bun:

Basically you need to know how to French braid, and do a sock bon.

Step 1.) Flip your hair over your face ( so bend over ) and take a chunk from the back and French braid upward, secure with a bobby pin

Step 2.) gather your hair to where you wants your bun and tie with a hair tie

Step 3.) Take a sock, or the sock bun material you can buy from any store, and start from the top of your hair, twisting the sock down and wrapping your hair.

If you're confused on what this means, here's a youtube video I used to learn how to do a sock bun ---------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWoWYMOBoJI

to make it cuter, add a bow to the back just like in the picture or even in the front of your bun :)

French Pony Tail

Again, you need to know how to French braid. If you don't it's really simple, any youtube video will teach you.

So just French braid your bangs or a chunk of the front of your hair and braid. Once you've got a good length, gather your hair into a pony tail.

To add something extra, add a bow or headband :)

Side Braid:

I'll explain three types of side braids in this section

1.) 5 strand braid!

5 strand braids are not really common because it takes some practice to learn and it really works best with medium to long hair. I learned in about an hour from this video ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZEsf2uXzZU ( she also does tons of hairstyles i recommend trying! )

2.) Fishtail Braid.

Step 1.- separate your hair in two sections.

Step 2.- Starting from your side of choice, take a small section from the far side of your part and cross over to the other side. Then do the same to the other side.

Do this until you've gotten to the end of your hair then secure with a band.

3.) Katniss Braid

The Katniss braid was inspired from the Hunger Games if you didn't know.

I recommend having someone else do this for you because it's hard to do in the back of your head.

Basically you French braid in reverse starting from behind your ear and across the back of your head until you've gotten to your other ear, then braiding the rest normally.
