The truth about thigh gaps

So what is a thigh gap that everyone has been talking about? It's pretty much the gap between your legs when you put your feet together. As many people may or may not know, a thigh gap is completely genetic and is based on your bone structure. Girls are driven to the point of eating disorders and depression because social media has created this illusion that having a thigh gap will make you beautiful, it's not though. it's actually everything else that makes you, you. 

 
Pros of NOT having a thigh gap
 
If you're exercising day and night and starving yourself just to get a thigh gap, let me tell you, it's hard to change something that is already embedded in your DNA. A thigh gap is completely based on your bone structure. So if you're already exercising constantly, do it because you want to be healthy instead of changing something that is already set in your DNA. Tumblr and other social media may be filled with posts about how having a thigh gap is the only way you'll be beautiful. Well it's not, you're already beautiful just the way you are. Ignore the social pressure that media has created around the world we're living in and focus on other things.

Pros of having a thigh gap
 
If you're reading about all these articles and post about how that it's healthier to not have a thigh gap, that men don't like it, or that it's unhealthy or whatever. I want to tell you that it's completely perfectly fine to have a thigh gap. More and more people are shining a light on and stressing the pros of not having a thigh gap, so i'm here to show that there are obvious pros to having a thigh gap. If you're bullied because of it, ignore them. You're beautiful.

In the end, i've been reading a lot of posts and articles on thigh gap that mainly focus on the pros of not having one. So I decided to balance it out a bit between the pros of having one and not having one. Having or not having a thigh gap are both completely normal and does not define a person. If you're getting hate because of it, ignore it since they do not know what they're talking about.
