Today I'm reviewing the movie Pretty In Pink.
It's a little older, from 1986.
My mom and I were searching Netflix, and she thought I would love this movie, which I really did! It's one of my favorites.
Summary:
High school senior Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald) is a working-class girl who has a crush on one of the rich, preppy boys in her school, Blane McDonough (Andrew McCarthy). When Andie and Blane try to get together, they encounter resistance from their respective social circles.
Pretty in Pink is a 1986 American teen romantic comedy-drama film about love and social cliques in 1980s American high schools. It is one of John Hughes' films starring Molly Ringwald, and is commonly identified as a "Brat Pack" film.
Acting:
I liked the actors a lot, especially John Cryer as Duckie. There was a lot of emotion there! John Hughes had Molly Ringwald a couple other movies, and she's a really wonderful actress.

Wardrobe: Andy(Molly Ringwald) actually made her own clothes at home, and I thought it was really cool. Obviously, she wears a lot of pink.
I personally like the wardrobe, but some of you may not, because it's the 80's.

Sound: one thing that bugged me was the volume of the talking compared to the volume of the music in the movie. I wouldn't recommend watching it late at night, because if you keep it loud enough to hear the talking, the music will wake your parents!

Overall, I give this movie a 9/10, and I encourage you all to watch it!
