Carter's POV

Talia, Chase, Colin, Logan and I were sitting in my living room and planning our revenge for Angel. Logan had gotten us some free pizza from his workplace and Colin had picked up sodas on the way over.

So far, we were going to post Angel and Chase's rendezvous video on Twitter and YouTube. This was going to be a good start. Next we wanted to ruin Angel's entire life like she had done to me. She was already unpopular in school so we would have to do something in her personal life.

Angel didn't know that Chase was working with us, so he was going to leave hidden cameras all over her house the next time he went over there. If we caught any footage that we could use to our advantage, then we would use it.

Chase and Logan were our insiders. Chase was already good with Angel and Logan was so quiet that he could find out anything without drawing attention to himself.

Colin was there for mutual support whenever we needed him.

Talia and I were going to try to trick Angel into running for prom queen, and then when she went on stage we were going to do something bad. Something very, very bad.

Prom was coming up in three months and Talia planned on running for prom queen. I didn't have a date to prom, yet. Colin and Kylie were still together. I thought about how he had said that he wanted the old Carter back. The old Carter was so lost; it would take a long time to find her. But, I was willing to do that for Colin. I owed him my life.

"Guys, we need to continue with our lives like we did before. I will only sit with Logan at lunch. If Angel sees any one of us talking or hanging out with another, it could raise suspicions. I don't know you, Talia, and you don't know me." I stated.

Every one shook their heads in agreement.

"I think we're all good for now." Talia smiled.

"So Chase, when you get home, you will post the video?" I looked at him.

"Yeah, but I need to do it from another computer so that it doesn't track back to me." He answered.

"Since we're all done, let's play a game or something." Logan smirked.

"Strip poker?" Chase asked with a smirk.

"I have a girlfriend." Colin raised his hand.

"Let's play spin the bottle but instead of kissing, we get to ask the person any question. If they lie, then they have to take off an article of clothing. If they tell the truth and the full truth, then they don't have to do anything." Talia shared her idea.

We all agreed that this was a good game. We sat in a circle in the middle of my living room and I got one of my mom's wine bottles out of the recycling bin. Now that her life was back on track, she was drinking less and less.

"I'll go first," I spun the bottle and it landed on Colin, "So Colin, I just want to know what you see in Kylie."

"She's cool." He shrugged. Colin mustn't have liked her much if that was all he said. There was hope for me.

Colin took his turn and the bottle landed on Chase. Colin didn't like Chase much because of the whole shebang. I had forgiven Chase, so Colin should've, too.

"Okay, Chase," he sneered, "How is a scholarship much more important than a girl's life?"

Chase's face got red and he clenched his hands into fist, "It isn't."

"I mean you had no problem helping Angel ruin Carter, so it has to mean something." Colin shot back.

"I regret everything, but why are you so quick to judge? You don't know me."

"I know enough."

The room was silent now. I saw Talia pull out her phone and turn her video camera on.

"Are ya'll gonna fight or..." she asked quietly.

Colin and Chase were glaring at each other.

"I just thought you should know that Carter is great in bed." Chase smirked.

Colin didn't say anything, but he launched at Chase. Talia started to record their fight the moment it began.

Colin and Chase were swinging at each other. They both got a couple of good hits in there. I kept yelling for them to stop, but they wouldn't.

I grabbed Logan's arm, "Logan, stop them."

Logan tried to pull them apart but the two of them together were too strong for Logan to handle. He shrugged his shoulders and came back to me.

The only way to stop them would be to distract them. I thought quickly about something that would distract them both. I got it!

I turned to Logan and kissed him. I kept kissing him until Chase and Colin had noticed what was going on.

"First Chase and now Logan?" Colin was furious.

"I don't even like Logan. I just needed you two to stop fighting." I replied with the same angry tone he was using with me.

"Screw you, Carter. I don't think the old Carter will ever come back." Colin fired at my heart. That one hit me hard.

Colin grabbed a box of pizza and left. Chase, Talia, Logan, and I stood there in silence.

"Well, Carter. You messed up big time." Talia was the one to break the silence.

"So, I'm just gonna go." Logan pointed at the door.

"Yeah, same." Chase chimed in.

"I think I heard my mom calling me home for dinner." Talia tagged along. The three of them gathered up their things and let themselves out.

I was still shocked from everything. I think Colin was truly done with me now. I just kept hurting him over and over again.

I went up to my room, grabbed a pillow, and hugged it. Everyone had left me. I fell back in my bed and cried.

I was never going to get Colin back now.
