Chapter Nineteen

A/N: This chapter deals with a sensitive topic towards the end.

Angel's POV

School on Monday was not good.

It. Was. Horrible.

I drove myself to school and parked in the back. I walked to the front and saw Carter and Colin making out. Not only was it disgusting, but it was just pitiful.

This was not how the plan was supposed to go. Now I had to instigate to mess it up again.

I saw Kylie talking to some of her cheerleader friends. I walked over to them.

"Kylie, I need to talk to you." I said quietly to her.

"Okay." She shrugged. Her friends stopped talking and looked at me like I was a weirdo.

"Can we go somewhere else?" I asked.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and we walked to a nearby tree.

"So what you want?"

"I heard that Carter and Colin had been messing around while you two were together." I pointed at the two of them swallowing each other.

"I've had it with Carter!" her face went red and she stomped over to them.

Carter's POV

"Carter!" someone yelled my name. I stopped kissing Colin to look at the person.

Kylie.

"What do you want?" I was confused.

"I heard you were screwing Colin while we were together."

I laughed, "Um, no. Colin and I weren't even talking while you two were together."

"Are you lying?"

"No."

"Well, that's what Angel said." She pointed at Angel.

"Angel, get your ass over here!" I called for her.

She rolled her eyes and walked over.

"Why the hell are you starting crap?" I asked her.

"You and I both know that you were messing around with Colin." She answered.

"I never even said a word to Carter while I was with Kylie." Colin chimed in.

I nodded in agreement.

"You two are some liars." Angel rolled her eyes again.

"Angel, you need to stop. You keep trying to start some and seem like a badass bitch. I'm just trying to figure out how you can be a badass bitch with only five outfits?" I smirked.

The crowd around us gasped.

"Take that back!" Angel's face went red.

"No regrets."

Colin wrapped his arms around my waist, "Let's go." He said.

"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Some people started ranting.

"Yeah, Carter, fight me." Angel gritted her teeth.

"Every time you try to fight someone you end up losing." I shrugged.

"I want to kick both your asses, but I'll stay out of this one." Kylie turned on her heel and walked away. Some other students left too.

"She's not worth it. She's deranged." Colin said loudly.
