Well, that was a twist in events! 😍 Who'd a thought! Tell me what you thought in the comments. Enjoy this one guys!

1780- Connor was walking next to Eva down the country trail to the setting of an orange sunset sky. No one had spoken a word to anyone yet, but the silence was soon broken. "So, Connor," began Eva, "Tell me, what have you been doing since after you left the village of our people." Connor looked at the dirt as they walked and said, "Well, I hunted for Templars. The Templar named Charles Lee burned our village and killed my mother, remember. We soon grew up and I finally found the Assassins. To my advantage, Lee was a Templar; the very people who we are trying to stop, and so when time had passed along with this Revolutionary War, I killed him."
Eva thought, then said, "So, you never had time to relax and enjoy yourself ? Never made time to stop?" Connor stopped, looked at her and asked, "How could I stop myself from freeing the ones that I love?" She felt uncomfortable now and didn't know what to say. They continued walking. She said, "I do love somebody." At hearing that, Connor felt mixed feelings of panic, sadness, anger, and jealousy. "Who?" he asked. "A man," she said, "With tall, handsome features. He's very strong, and very talented. He cares for people before himself. I find that most attractive about him. But at the same time, he is very confusing. I just can't get into his mind. He doesn't quite let me in." Connor suggested, "Why not tell him that you love him? It....shows how.....lucky you are....how f-fortunate you are." He started to hesitate by choking on his words. He wanted her to love him. "But she doesn't, you idiot!" Connor thought to himself. "Why would she, a beautiful woman like her, love a scrawny little man like you?"
Eva said, "He wouldn't understand. He doesn't know how to understand because he's internally conflicted." Connor said, "Sure he would. Just say, you love him, and that you want to be with him forever." Eva began to smile as she looked at the ground. "What?" asked Connor. "Nothing," giggled Eva, "It's just so funny." Connor was confused. "I don't understand," he said. Eva exhaled and looked at him in the eyes. "Connor, you don't understand because you can't understand. I purposely kept my thoughts to myself." Connor was heartbroken from the inside. Who did she love? Maybe a frontiersmen or another Mohawk warrior. "I'm sorry, Eva. I won't bother you again. I just love..." he was cut off short by a kiss from her. She kissed him on his lips. It was the best thing that ever happened to him.
They finally stopped. "Well that is a twist in the story," humored Connor. Eva laughed. Connor said," I don't know what to say." She said, "Say that you love me." Connor nodded, "Alright. I love you." Then, they kissed again. The evening went beautifully. Connor, for the first time, felt loved by someone. He felt like he was needed for a purpose.
Connor looked at Eva as the orange sunlight beamed off of her face, and said, "You loved me all this time.....why didn't you tell me?" She replied, "I was afraid of rejection." This was ironic to the young Assassin who had been afraid to ask due to his fear of rejection. He smiled. Then she noticed that it was getting darker out and said, "We'd better head back to Benjamin Franklin, Connor. He said that he had something to show us." Connor nodded and they headed back for Dr. Franklin's workshop.
