What up, meh people? 😎 Did you all like that last one? I did in particular, but that's just me. Anyway, we have to get more into the mission, it seems. So I'll write, and leave y'all to the reading. Enjoy guys.

1780- The fogs of the sea came upon them by dusk. The chilly cold air surrounded them. Connor used his Eagle vision to look for anything upon the sea, there was nothing to be seen. Connor summoned one of the crew to take hold of wheel while he went below. As he was coming away from the wheel he heard a man, who was alone murmuring something to himself as he shivered in the cold. That disturbed him a bit and he proceeded to open up the hatch and climbed down the stairs.
The lamps illuminated the deck below and some of the crew were down there just minding their business. Connor saw Benjamin working in his given room and came to him. He knocked on the doorway and said, "Good evening, Dr. Franklin." "Ah! Yes. Connor. 'Tis a very good evening isn't it. I was just looking over this map here at the area of our destination. Um....it seems to me that there is a coven of witches just off of 'King's Inlet'. I don't believe that you knew that." Connor looked and saw what he meant. "Hmmm. Perhaps they won't interact with us as we look for what we need, sir. Dr. Franklin, you know that the Templars are still on the loose around these parts. Do you suppose that we might come into contact with any of them?"
"Oh I doubt it," he replied, "It's bad enough that ghosts and witches are amongst that area. Templars have no need to associate themselves with these things." Connor nodded and said," Alright then. Thank you." Then he went away. Then Connor got a bad feeling. Something wasn't right. Witches? Covens? It was bad.
He turned around and Eva was standing behind him. He jumped a bit. "Eva. You scared me," he said. She walked next to him and said, "Sorry, Connor. I was looking for you." "Why?" he asked. "I was cold out on deck, and the crew kept on looking at me weirdly," she explained. Connor hugged her and said, "It's alright. You can stay with me." Faulkner came by and said, "Ay, lad. Bring you and Eva over here and have some dinner and drinks."
Eva and Connor sat down at a table that Mr. Faulkner was at. Faulkner gave them each a bowl of sea chow, which was composed of cream stew, clams, and crab meat. He also filled three tankards of rum for them. Eva was amazed by the sight of the tankard's size. Connor took a spoon and had a bit of the sea chow. It was done to perfection. "Mr. Faulkner," said Connor through a full mouth of stew, " please tell the chef that I really enjoy this dinner. I hope to have some again." Faulkner said, "Oh but, Captain. There's more than that. Look!" He pointed to a long table that was full of food. There was smoked pig, cooked turkey and chicken, deer which was hunted, lobster and crab, shrimp cocktail, and the wildest of fruits from the Caribbean. They stuffed themselves until they were full that night.
Later that night, while some of the crew were now sleeping, Connor was in his cabin, working. He was going through some letters and documents that he'd picked up from messengers and soldiers that he'd killed. Some of them were rather frightening.

December 9, 1780,
Dear Lockhart,
Have you not yet understood the perils of these times? Do you just choose to ignore them and refuse to accept the fact that all of the Colonies are haunted by this very ghost. The 'Old Sea Captain' has been haunting us for a very long time now. The men have been giving talk about experiencing paranormal happenings and quite frankly, it's been giving me the spooks. Then there are those wretched Assassins. They too come out in the night as if they were ghosts too. This place is not safe anymore. I urge you to hear what I am explaining to you. Listen, you must not let the Assassins find the Secrets of the ghost. They are privileged and restricted. Go to 'King's Inlet' in Maine and await our signal. However, Lockhart, I do warn you that there is a coven of witches there and they will harm you if you aren't careful. All is said out of me now. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you've enjoyed your Christmas.
May the Father of Understanding guide you.
                                                                      Yours sincerely, Gen. Robert Newport
