Well well, it all ties in now doesn't it. The beloved Davenport Homestead finally is mentioned. What will happen? Let's see guys.

1780- The darkness of night filled the inside of the carriage. The ride was tight, dark, and the road became bumpy. Benjamin Franklin was looking over his map with the light of a little candle which was held in his hand. Connor was sitting next to Eva, and he tried to make himself and her comfortable by moving his weapons so that they could sit. She was tired so she rested her head on his shoulder. She yawned and fell asleep. Connor tried to keep his eyes open, but they were too heavy for him and sleep overtook him. So he fell asleep with her at his side, his right arm around her shoulder.
Connor was dreaming. The memories of the ghost surrounded them. The mass killings, the dark figure....coming for him in the night. DEATH, DEATH, DEATH! The hangings on the dark trees. The rocking chair. Gravestones everywhere. The black Templar's Cross on the cloth. What was that? The chilling cold air around them, too much to bare, when all of a sudden, you just might not survive the run for your life, until the ghost comes with his dark axe, and causes you to DIE! Connor awoke with a start and saw Franklin looking at him. "You alright there, Master Kenway?" he asked. Connor nodded. He sat up in his seat, trying not to disturb Eva.
But then the carriage jolted toward, then stopped. Eva awoke with a start. "Why are we stopping?" Connor asked with much annoyance. Franklin had a confused expression on his face and knock on the door window. It was still dark outside. "Hey," shouted Franklin, "I demand that you open this door at once!" Then the door was opened by a British red coat scout. "Hello, governor," he smugly said as he pointed his rifle at them. Connor immediately launched himself out of the carriage and chopped down on the scout. Then, Franklin got out and unleashed his sword. "On guard!" he challenged a soldier, who readily accepted. The soldier stabbed at him, but the doctor quickly parried and sliced a fatal blow across the soldier's chest. Eva jumped out and followed after by stabbing one scout on the neck with her left hidden blade and used her tomahawk to kill another. Connor grabbed up a rifle, shot a nearby soldier and stabbed another with the bayonet of it. He used his bow and arrow to shoot the leader of the group and Franklin put the last one to his knees and stabbed him in the face with his sword. "Cursed devils," he cursed at the dead carcasses and wiped his sword before sheathing it back.
They got back into the carriage and proceeded on their journey.  No one could fall back asleep now. Connor said, breaking the silence, "I never knew you were able to fight like that, Dr. Franklin. I always assumed you to be more of a subtle type of character. I was proven wrong. I didn't actually believe that you would use your blade against anyone. I will be more assertive next time." Franklin smiled and replied, "Oh please, Master Kenway. I've lived a lot longer than you. Back in my prime days, I admit that I had gotten into quite a few bouts with many imbeciles like those. Never exactly killed anybody, except a drunkard who once attacked my beloved on a terrible night, but I do tend to be a soft hearted man."
"You certainly surprised me," giggled Eva. Connor laughed too. Franklin chuckled, "Well I'm not the Assassin type but I did dare the bastard and it was his fate that he chose." Connor kept laughing. Franklin laughed at Connor and said, "Your hood...hahaha....you look like a devil behind it..." Connor couldn't help but laugh at himself. Eva looked at Connor and laughed at him. It was all just too funny.
Time had passed and a sign came into view that read, "The Davenport Homestead". They were finally where they needed to be. The carriage pulled up into the front of the Homestead Manor and they all got out of the carriage. "Go down to the Homestead Tavern and buy an ale for yourself." said Connor. Then the coach driver went down the road to the tavern. Then the three set out to the Homestead Bay.
