What up everyone! I have been really focused lately on romantic things for some reason if you can't tell. Lol. 😂😂😂 Anyway, I am continuing on with the story so here we go.
1781- Night came and the lights of the settlement town lit up the sky. Eva was walking with Connor while Israel was flirting with some other lady across the way. Connor's bow was a bit low and he adjusted it back to normal. "So Eva," began Connor, nervously, "How have your days been for you so far? Do you feel well?" Connor thought to himself then, "What an absurd question! How could I ask her that?" She looked at him strangely and replied, "My days? Connor, you know my days. They have been the same as yours. Pirating, and assassinating, and killing, and saving African slaves into liberation. Hunting like Indians hunt, and fighting like Indians should fight, and looking for the Ghost. Those are my days, Connor. Why would you ask that?" Connor shook his hooded head. "I am deeply sorry, Eva," replied the love struck Assassin, "I am just so preoccupied. I am a pirate captain. A patriot. An Assassin. I am busy and I never get but one chance to relax and have the luxury of leisure time. I am a broken spirit. Have you felt safe with me?" "Safe?"said Eva, "I don't feel safe with anyone. But that doesn't mean that I think you won't protect me." Connor nodded and said, "I understand. And you should know that I will protect you. It is not natural that I would not come to your aid in times of peril." Eva laughed at him. Connor then said, "What is so amusing?" She said, "You've always talked so differently. So proper and all. But it's nice sounding." Connor smiled.
They started to walk down the road and Connor saw the a bench overlooking a lake. Connor said, "Come with me over to that bench. I would like to tell you something." Eva followed the Assassin and then, they sat down. Connor took off his hood from over his head and she took off hers as well. Then, Connor said, "Look at the lake. What do you see?" Over by the shore were two deer; a buck and a doe. Eva saw them and said, "I see a lake with two deer and a moon." Connor then said, "Yes, Eva. What you see is correct. What are the two deer doing?" Eva looked at the deer and they were rubbing there snouts together in affection. "Aww," exclaimed Eva, "They are loving each other. That is so cute!" "Yes," said Connor, "They are. This night is a very romantic night. The stars, the moon, and the town lights. It's all magical." Eva then looked at Connor and said, "Okay, so what did you want to tell me, Connor?" Connor pulled out the beautiful feathers. "I do not know to much about romance," began Connor, "but in our tribes tradition, the only romantic thing that I can think of is the blessing of one warrior to another with feathers. That is only half of me though. The other side of my blood however has customs that know of romance. Eva, I have bought you these." Connor took out the roses and gave them to Eva. She exclaimed in joy. "Oh my goodness, Connor!"she said, "They are beautiful! Where did you get these? And where did you get the beautiful feathers?"
Connor answered her, "The cliff, Eva. I climbed up to an eagle's nest and took the feathers. The roses, I had bought here in town a couple hours ago with Israel." She was so happy. Then, she hugged him and said, "Connor, you are absolutely amazing! I can't even describe you. You are truly genuine! I love you so much!" He said, "I love you too." Then, they kissed. Israel came back to them, at that time, and said, "Woah! Bad timing!" The two Assassins looked at him. He said, "Oh, do continue. I wouldn't want to ruin your love right now. I should be getting back to my own new lover." Connor thought to himself, "Wait. Israel has a lover? When did this happen?" But then, he forgot about that as Israel went back.
He looked at Eva and then said, "Well that was an interesting interruption from Israel." Eva laughed a little. "It was," she said smiling, "and you know what? This whole time, you were hiding this from me. You are silly, Connor." Connor just smiled and said, "I do not understand. How am I silly when I mean everything that I have done?" She said, "Because. You were pursuing my heart. It amused me thinking about it. But I love you for it. The willingness. The love. Everything. It tells me that you care about me." Connor looked in her eyes and said, "I do. I sometimes don't know how to show you how I love you, but I always think of you, and I always want to make you happy, despite the fact that we are Assassins and inherently have to fight and sometimes, kill Templars." She smiled. He continued, "I feel like I'm alone in this world sometimes. So many people were taken from me throughout my life and I could never grasp love. What was it? How could I ever have it? How could I be blessed with it? These ideas and thoughts sprung through my mind and I never found any answers." She smiled and said, "Awww. You know I love you, Connor." Then she hugged him tight. Connor hugged her back. The night would end well.
