Okay guys. Here is where it all comes down to. The three Assassins have parted ways and we have seen Eva and Israel's experiences through the search of this haunted place that they have sailed to. Now it is time to see what Connor Kenway has to find. Frankly, I am nervous, but let us get to it guys! Enjoy.

1781- Connor opened up the latch that held the door to the basement and he struggled to open up the door. It made a groaning sound as it opened up, revealing a stairway and darkness up ahead. Eva had previously handed him the lantern, though he doubted that it would serve much more use to him due to that the oil was draining from it quickly. But he used its remaining light and headed slowly down the stairway. With each step he made, the wood under his feet creaked and he hated it. He looked around and saw that a brick wall was on either side of him. He looked around with his Eagle Vision to see if there were any marks or clues that could be seen reflecting the Ghost's activity. He saw scratch marks made on the walls as he went further down and he also saw that there was a body hanging on a hook up ahead. He came down to the bottom of the stairs and went up to the corps. "It has been placed here a while ago. It was not done by any Native American." Connor passed it and continued through the passageway.
As Connor continued, he saw a telescope on the ground and picked it up. The rim around the looking glass had gold trim on it and then the rest was made of wood. Connor thought about why this item had gotten there. "Surely none of us had brought it with us, because we have only split apart now. This is most interesting. I should investigate some more down here," thought Connor as he put the telescope in his belt. Then, he continued to walk down the passage until he came up to a door. On the door a skull and crossbones was carved in. " Aha! Pirates!" thought the Assassin as he grabbed the doorknob. Then he turned it and the door opened slowly.
Connor stuck the lantern in first and then, he peeked in. Once he saw that the coast was clear, he proceeded into the darkness. But then, a skeleton, strapped up by strings, fell down in front of him. The Mohawk Assassins jumped back and drew his pistol. "Whew. What sickened fool would do this?" he thought as he analyzed it. The skeleton was very old and dusty. Then he passed it. The light of the lantern began to flicker. Connor knew that that was bad. He looked around and saw that the room he was in was a basement storage room. Connor saw a chair and a table and conveniently, there was a bowl of oil or fuel. Connor put the lantern on the table and began to sit in the chair, when it gave out from under him and he fell down. He quickly got up and brushed himself off. That was not fun to him. But then he opened the hatch of the lantern and poured the oil in the bowl into the lantern. The fire inside lit up brighter. Then Connor could see better. But then, he heard a noise. It came from the dark part of the basement.
"Hello?" called Connor," Are you hiding from me?" Connor saw something dark shift behind some boxes in the back. "Come out, and show yourself," he demanded as he got closer to the figure. The he heard scratching of the wood boxes. Whatever it was, the dark figure stood up now, and it was very tall. Connor saw it now. The figure came forward into the light one step at a time. "Looking for me, Assassin?" Said the dark voice. Connor looked and saw that the figure looked like a dark cloaked man with a pale face and white beard. It wore a black captain's hat and had a boarding axe in its hand. "You," said Connor, backing up. The man laughed a dark laugh and said, "Aye. Me. You were looking for me, Captain Kenway, I presume." Connor said, "You are the Ghost. I have been looking for you. I am Captain Connor Kenway, and I have been waiting to end your murders."
The Ghost cackled like he had something in his throat as he laughed and said, "Oh come now, lad. Do you honestly think that you could best me? Honestly." Connor scowled and didn't reply. The Ghost disappeared and then the Assassin looked around. Then the Ghost's voice was heard. "You fool," he spoke, "you know nothing of fighting on the sea. A little tomahawk is your weapon. You are a true landlubber, and no better than a bastardized bilge rat. Aye." Then, the Ghost appeared behind Connor and said, "Boo!" Connor jumped back and drew his pistol. The Ghost said, "Ha! Go ahead. Shoot me. It'll be fun watching as you waste your bullet." Connor aimed at his chest and shot the flintlock pistol. The bullet hit Myers in the chest and he looked at it and then back up at the Assassin. "Hahaha. Fool of a boy. Now you will taste my wrath." The Ghost Captain pulled his pistol out and aimed it at the Assassin. Connor grabbed a hold of William Kidd's ring and put it on his finger. The Ghost shot his pistol and the bullet deflected away from the Mohawk Assassin. Connor smiled. The Ghost looked shocked.
"So," said the Pirate Ghost, "You have Kidd's treasure. But let us see how you survive the cold steel of my blade." The Ghost gripped his boarding axe and swung it at Connor. The Assassin dodged the blow and stabbed the Ghost in the knee with his hidden blade. The Ghost screamed and turned around to face Connor. Then, Connor pulled an arrow back in his bow and shot the wrist of the Ghost, causing him to drop his axe. Connor then smirked. The Ghost ripped the arrow from his wrist and said, "Devil take you, Indian! Your arrows will not save you! You forget, I am immortal and I have practiced the dark arts." Then, Samuel B. Myers raised his hand and a ball of fire came from his hand as he wickedly smiled. "Take the heat, lad!" said Myers as he threw the flaming ball at the Assassin. Kenway moved quick as the Ghost continued throwing the fire at him. The place was setting off on fire as well and the lantern with oil fell onto the floor, spreading the fire. The Ghost saw all the flames and said to Connor with opened arms, "Welcome to Hell!" Connor said, "Same to you, spirit!" Then, Connor threw a grenade bomb, and a toxic smoke bomb over toward the Ghost. They both exploded and the fire consumed around the Ghost. Myers walked through the fire with his tattered robes and clothes and he laughed and said, "Not so easy." Connor threw another bomb and it exploded, sending both the Assassin and the Ghost back. Connor looked around and saw the fire everywhere. He had to get out. He got up and shook his head. But then, the Pirate Ghost grabbed him and said, "Going somewhere?" Then, he threw Connor threw a doorway on the other side of the basement which led to another extension of the room. Connor looked around. He landed on a bunch of barrels. He read what was written on them. Gunpowder!!!!!!!! The Ghost went through the door and threw a flame ball at Connor who quickly jumped forward. The barrels erupted in the whole place, and Connor was consumed by the flames along with the Ghost. The walls of the basement collapsed and the storm outside continued.
Miraculously surviving the nebula of fire that consumed him, Connor felt the water of the storm hit his face. Smoke was everywhere. Debris had fell on top of him and the roof of the basement extension was no more. Fire was still prevalent and Connor tried to crawl to his feet. His robes were full of burns and torn scratches. His Ingres and hands were bloody and his face was scratched up. Blood was on his clothing. Connor was hurting badly. He managed to get up as he was getting soaked by the rain and wind. Then, as he looked around, he saw the Ghost, with his torn robe blowing in the wind and a sword in his right hand. Connor stood up and looked through the rain. The Ghost pointed his sword toward Connor and said, "Come on then, lad! Show me what you've got!" Connor, not enjoying the taunt, drew his sword. Then the two stood ready to fight.
