Hey guys. Sorry that I took so long, but school has been really hard lately and I just was too busy. But I'm good now and I will continue on with the story. So enjoy y'all.

1781- Moccasins were not very bad shoes to wear usually. They were made of deer hide and had strong holdings put together. And if you had to quickly run through the frontier and city, they were just as good as any colonists black leather shoes. But in the tropical forests and marshy swamps, where the Assassins currently were, they were terrible. Connor's feet were killing him as he walked through the bushes and vines. He was sweaty and thirsty, and his heels felt like they would break out from under him. His outfit was hot and he took his hood off. The interesting thing was that the sun wasn't even beating on them though. It was overcast and rainy at the time. They were drenched in rain. The humidity was what was causing them to be so hot.
"Come, he said, "murmured Connor to himself, angrily, "It will be of your best interests, he said." Connor was referring to the Ghost's letter to him at the Homestead. They were finally coming out of the forests and came to an old churchyard in ruins. Vines overtook the brick walls, and towers of the church, and some gravestones were sunken into the soil and covered with vines. Eva looked around an asked, "Are we at the place yet?" Israel took the map from Connor and replied, "Yes. This is it." The rain kept on pouring. Connor put his hood back over his head because he was soaked. Then, they heard something.
"Shhhh," said Connor looking around, "Did you hear that?" Eva looked and replied quietly, "Yeah. But I don't see anything." Israel held tight to his rifle and said, "Hold on. I hear them." Movement came from behind the bushes and the Assassins looked over at that direction. Connor pulled out his bow and arrow and aimed at that spot. Eva also pulled out her bow and arrow and aimed there too. Then, two huge black panthers jumped out and growled at them. Then, Connor fired his arrow and hit one in the shoulder, and Eva hit the other. Israel backed up and climbed up the stone wall to reach the top and get a higher aim. "We could use your assistance, Israel," said Connor, who now pulled out his tomahawk and began chopping at the panthers claws. Eva maneuvered around the panther that went for her, and shot at it with her pistol. The bullet his the panther, but only angered it, and it pounced on her. "Eva!" shouted Connor as he noticed his girlfriend get pounced upon by a ferocious beast. She ignited her hidden blade and began slicing quickly at the brute's paws and face.
The other panther that fought Connor was charging him from every angle. Connor got smacked down by the animal, but picked himself back up and backed up a bit. When the animal moved in again, Connor sliced it with his tomahawk and stabbed it with his hidden blade. The brute only got angered. It glared at Connor, who like a wolf, growled back at it. Connor tried to give it the fear tactic that he learned in the Frontier. But this panther was not from the Frontier. It advanced again at Connor, who stabbed at it again with his hidden blade. Then, Eva screamed, and Connor looked back. His panther smacked him at that moment, and he fell down. Then, Israel used his rifle, aimed, and shot the panther above Eva, and the beast was killed instantly. Israel jumped down off of the wall and went to help up Eva.
Connor, however, was now backing away from his panther, and he was trying to avoid its attacks. Israel and Eva tried loading their guns quickly to help Connor, but another black panther came from out of the bushes and advanced to the other two Assassins. Israel and Eva backed up and shot at their panther but it didn't die yet. Connor, meanwhile, was now wrestling with his panther; tackling it, and avoiding its jaws. The beast tried to throw Connor off but the Assassin just held on and stabbed it with his hidden blade several times in its side. Connor scratched at the beast's yes and it only got annoyed and hit Connor back. The Mohawk then was fed up, and with his tomahawk, chopped it straight in the head, and it died instantly. Connor, who was covered in blood, turned and looked over at his other counterparts, who were fighting their panther. Israel, finally shot the brute in its side, causing it to fall while on its hind legs, and .he ignited his hidden blade, and stabbed it in the throat. Then, he pulled out his sword and began chopping down upon it. It died and Israel stood up. "There is your meat, Israel," commented Connor who began to skin his panther. Then they went into the graveyard when they were done.
They looked throughout the gravestones looking for the pirate captain's coffin. It was no where to be seen. Connor looked at the map and inscribed by the, location said, "Under the Cross, where the Dead lay. Inside the church." So they went over to the church building with its over grown vines. Connor pulled the vines off of the doorknob of the door and saw that it was rusted. Connor turned the knob and it broke in his hand. The door loosened and they opened up the corroded door. Then, the Assassins walked inside of the church. The pews were broken and old, and vines grew inside the sanctuary as much as outside. A huge gravestone rested under a wooden cross hanging on the wall. "There," exclaimed Connor, "There is the grave of the Ghost."
They went over to the gravestone and it had a stone coffin behind it. Connor, and Israel opened up the stone opening, and the tomb was empty. Except a note. Connor read it, " To the lands of the Appalachian Mountains, where the furs are abundant. The Kentucky Lands of the Blood Red Grounds, a treasure awaits the victorious." They had been tricked to another location.
