Sup y'all! How's it going? I'm sooooo excited about getting this far into the story. The mystery is coming close guys! One of my friends suggested that I should bring some more pirate spirit out of Connor since he is fighting a pirate ghost and so I agreed and decided I'm going to used Connor's skills of piracy to find the ghost. So let's see how this turns out. Enjoy guys!

1781- Days passed from the naval battle that the Assassins went through, and so sailing was most smooth. Connor went into the longboat that morning and used a harpoon to hunt some whales for meat and oil. He had caught two humpback whales, and he caught a couple sharks. After a day on the sea, they finally caught sight of Haiti and the sailors prepared to anchor the Aquila at the dock. Once the ship was docked, Connor got off and pulled his Assassin hood over his head to block the hot sunlight out of his eyes. He pulled out a map of Haiti from his pocket and looked for the haunted location on the island. By the city of Port-ai-Prince, there was a graveyard site and that was where Connor had to be.
"You ready?" asked Eva, who was putting her Assassin hood over her head, "Or are you having second thoughts?" "I know I am," piped in Israel who went onto the dock. Connor looked at Eva and replied, "I am ready. Do we have everything that we will need?" Israel said, "Aye. And if you think that those slavers will get far enslaving us again, brother, than we shall show no mercy upon them." Connor nodded. Then they proceeded onto the dock.
They went along the side of the beach where the waves crashed upon the sand. Connor thought, "Samuel B. Myers, or the 'Old Sea Captain' was said to have come by this island. The graveyard, north of here, is where he has said that he holds the souls of dead people of the past. My guess is that it may be haunted and that we are not going to go through very easily. If the Ghost had come by, then we are sure to find him here." They ran through the sand and Israel saw something shiny. "Wait, wait! Look there!" said Israel. They stopped and Connor went over to inspect. He picked up a tiny gold object that appeared to be bracelet. Connor smiled and said to Israel, "Here, my friend. I believe you have earned this treasure for you helping me." Israel smiled and said, "Thank you, brother. I shall cherish it dearly." Then they kept on going.
They found a clearing of trees and vegetation and went into the Haitian forests. Plants were everywhere around them and the sounds of birds were heard. A snake made its way to Israel and tried to bite at him. "A viper!" cried Israel. The African Assassin used his hidden blade and quickly stabbed it in its skull. Eva cringed when she saw that. Connor moved back a step and a trap was set off and a spear shot at Connor. The Assassin moved to the right and dodged the spear. It dug into the trunk of a tree. Israel went over to the spear and analyzed it. "Taino. This was made by the Taino Indians before. I know because after I was brought here for slavery years ago, they were the first inhabitants." Eva was intrigued. "Maybe," she began, "Maybe the the Taino knew about the Ghost." "Not likely," replied Connor, "They would have been fleeing from the Spanish by that time. Come on. I know of the Ghost's whereabouts."
They kept on running through the forests. But then, Connor heard something. "Wait. Get quiet. Listen." The Assassins heard voices of people talking not too far away. They followed the voices and hid in the undergrowth of the vegetation of the forest. Then, they spotted British soldiers. With the soldiers were slaves. Israel tensed. Eva put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down.
"Hurry up, you misfits!" shouted the British officer. There was a gallows passed them in a clearing that more slaves were in line for execution. Four slaves had nooses around their necks and at that instant, the executioner pulled the lever, and the four slaves hung. Then the Assassins moved in and stealthily killed the officer. Connor went over to the executioner and shot him in the head making him fall off of the edge of the gallows. Then, Connor jumped off of the gallows and, with his tomahawk, chopped down on the last British officer. The slaves ran away into the forests and we're finally freed.
Connor went over to the other two Assassins and said, "Let us go. The graveyard is not far away." So they went on from there. Connor happened to loot the officers first, though. He took their ammunition, gun powder, and their money. Then he went on his way and into the forest again. Eva had climbed up a banana tree and took of three bananas from the top and climbed back down. "Here, " she said, "It's a banana. It's fresh. You can eat it." Connor and Israel peeled their bananas and ate them. Israel finished it and asked, "Any chance that we will get any pork on this mission?" Connor replied, "I do not know. We need to focus." So they continued on their way.
