Twenty Five: When Acceptance Is A Virtue

Learning that Jun has already woken up from his six-day slumber, Sehun, Areum, Sorn, Seunghee, Jeonghan, Jisoo and Seungcheol visit the patient altogether in the afternoon.

"What kinds of dreams were you having man! That was one hell of a break," Seungcheol exclaims, patting him on the bandage-less shoulder.

Jun just cringes at the touch. Sorn scolds Seungcheol slightly, "Hey, slow down on the beating Seungcheol-shi."

Seungcheol puts his hands up instantly, "Okay! Cool. I'll be hands off for now."

Sorn leers at him and smiles at Jun. She's still shy about her confession but Jun comes first before anything else. Jun grins at her forcibly. He's surrounded by them in his hospital bed. And Seunghee's at the farthermost point at the end of his bed, standing beside Jeonghan. He can still remember the night he saw them. He's still mad at Jeonghan, and still so pained from Seunghee.

"You rascal, what were you thinking getting hit by that truck? It was a disaster. Look at you," Sehun inquires.

"I'm okay now hyung. So will you all just sit down? It's making me dizzy," Jun complains.

"But you will start your rehab as soon as your fracture heals. Did you hear?" Areum says.

"I know. Don't worry guys. I'll be okay. It doesn't feel like it's broken. This will be a piece of cake. I'll be back to normal in no time," he brags. Though he knows it himself that something is wrong with his leg.

"You better keep that or I won't help you with your dance notes again," Sorn jokes.

"Yah, I will. You don't have to worry about it," Jun tells her.

"So why don't you eat these fruits that we brought. Better keep your health back up," Jisoo says handing him the basket of assorted fruits.

"I can eat these in one day. Come back tomorrow and these will be gone," Jun jokes.

"Why don't you start eating now then?" Sorn jokes peeling and feeding him a piece of banana which he takes a mouthful of.

They all laugh at the picture of him. Seunghee and Jeonghan laugh along with the group but they can't say anything yet. They want to talk to him in private. Maybe later after everyone has gone. Jun is purposely enjoying himself for everyone, despite the tension he holds with Seunghee and Jeonghan.

And just after everyone has gone, Seunghee and Jeonghan really stay behind. Sorn hang around for a moment before leaving. The three of them standing just outside his room.

"I think he's really waiting for you to talk to him unnie," Sorn says.

"Yah, I really need to talk to him too," Seunghee replies.

"I'll wait for you here. I don't think he wants to see me again today. Maybe some other time," Jeonghan utters.

Seunghee obliges, "Okay. This will take a while alright?"

"I'll go ahead now unnie, Joe- can I call you oppa now? Since you're unnie's boyfriend now," Sorn asks.

Seunghee smiles at her, it's a nice thought. Jeonghan smiles at her too.

"Sure," he answers.

"Bye, oppa, unnie," Sorn waves at them as she paces away.

Then Seunghee walks inside Jun's room.
