Forty Nine: When The Going Gets Tough

"Come on jagiya, I have more stuffs to buy today! Everything's on sale!" Seunghee tells Jeonghan as he carries a number of shopping bags already.

He only sighs at how perky she is right now. "Alright, alright, I'm coming."

She enters another boutique and he follows right after. But it puts a smile on his face the moment he sees her. She's picking a pair of sweatshirt for him since it's already summer.

"Do you like this one or this one?" she puts out two different colors and designs.

He approaches her and she sees if it fits him. "I think this pink one suits you better."

She's enjoying it and watching her makes his day. She seldom goes shopping with him since she knows he's not really the type to. She's always considerate of him. That's why when she asks of anything at all, he can never say no.

"Come on! Try it on!" she eagerly says and pushes him.

"Alright, I can walk on my own jagiya."

Meanwhile, not too far from them, Sorn is also doing some window-shopping. She's near the fitting room and it so happens that Seunghee is dragging Jeonghan there. She instantly sees the two and greets them.

"Unnie! Oppa!" Sorn says in surprise.

It surprises the couple as well as they see her.

"Sorn!" Seunghee utters.

"Hi Sorn," Jeonghan seconds.

"You should've told me you're going out. We should've gone together," Seunghee adds.

Sorn shrugs, "It wasn't planned and I only got here unnie."

"I'll just try this on," Jeonghan excuses himself from the two and goes inside one of the fittings booths.

"Oppa is really one hell of a guy. Oh, sorry for the language," Sorn grins.

"Well he won't want to stay indoors alone won't he?" Seunghee replies.

"Yeah," Sorn laughs it off.

"Jagiya! Let me see if it fits," Seunghee walks over the booth.

Jeonghan answers her softly, "Why don't you join me inside this booth?"

"Ah... Just get out already."

"Make me."

"Should we leave you and go on ahead then?"

"Come on... You're spoiling the fun."

Sorn just smiles listening to them. They're such a lovely couple, it makes her feel a little jealous. Wish she has that someone too. And wish that someone is here with them. Thinking about it, she displays a sad face. Her loneliness sometimes gets the better of her. But she doesn't let Seunghee or Jeonghan see it. She is happy for them. But when will she be happy for herself? She silently wonders. And as she wonders, someone is already aboard the plane going back to where she is.

It's been six months and Jun is finally back in Korea. He has just arrived at the airport and is handsomely eager to see all of them again. He stands on his feet, fully recovered from the past accident. Thanks to China's medicinal technology, he overcame what was supposed to be terminal. He thought of who to see first and only one person comes to mind. He quickly drives his way to the school dorms to surprise the girl, who he thought is the first person who'll celebrate this day.
