He has just graduated and it's been a year, since he lead this kind of life. Hiding like a fugitive, from the girl he loves. He's secretly staying at an apartment next town. And the only ones who know are Seungcheol, Jisoo and his family.
He's alone, struggling to face the fact that by doing this, by testing himself and the girl he loves, he might lose her forever. But waiting is something he's good at. And this time, he'll wait once more. To be sure of everything. To rid of the possibilities of her loving another man. Cuz if he's beside her, she can't look at anybody else. But if he's away from her, she can chose whoever she wants to be with, instead of him.
"For how long are you doing this?" Seungcheol asks, Jisoo sitting beside him.
They visit him in his apartment. Seems like he doesn't befriend his neighbors either. They look at how pitiful their friend has become. He has grown his hair even longer and he lost some weight yet again.
"Come out with us sometime Jeonghan," Jisoo says.
"I can't. I can't take the risk. I can't risk her seeing me," he firmly answers.
"Are you really keeping this up?" Seungcheol asks once again.
"Yes," he firmly answers.
He's decided. In fact, he's been doing it for a year.
"Just to let you know, she's having a hard time without you," Seungcheol tells him.
"What about Taehyung? I thought she's with him," he silently replies, looking down on the mattress.
"They've split up. I heard from Sorn that they never even lasted for a month. Seunghee forced him out of her life too quickly. Though he still hangs around her. That's why we thought they're still together." Jisoo states.
"All because of you," Seungcheol adds. "So why don't you just quit it and go back? A year's long enough-"
"It'll never be long enough for me," Jeonghan mutters.
He's still hung up on it. He's still hurt even though he secludes himself like this.
"If you keep isolating yourself like this, it'll be a lot harder for you to move on," Seungcheol is almost getting emotional for him.
"I'm not trying to move on here. All I'm doing is wait for her," he retorts.
The two boys just heave a sigh at him. They probably won't be able to change his mind. Not with a resolve like this.
"Alright, you take care then. We'll be seeing you less in the coming days, I know you're aware of that," Seungcheol tells him.
"I know guys. Thanks."
Jisoo bids him goodbye then, "We'll be going now Jeonghan. You take care here okay?"
"Yah, thanks again."
The two boys leave his place and he silently spends his time alone again. He needs friends, but he needs more time for himself. To reprocess himself, to rethink why those painful things happened, why Seunghee chose to hurt him and what was he missing from himself.

Jeonghan only lives a few kilometers away from her, he secured a safe abode near the university he transferred at and quietly lived a life of a loner. He chose to be independent and private. He doesn't want anyone to affect his ways of reclaiming her even after so many years he plans to.
