The next day, as arranged, Jeonghan meets Nayeon by fifth period. Seunghee goes to her class as she part ways with him along the way. She walks in her designated room and finds a note written on the white board. Fortunately, her professor is absent today and he just gave them some take-home practice exercises. Seunghee takes a copy of the exercises on the front table and sits on her seat. She scans it and it probably won't take her long to finish if she answers it now. So she does, and she'll check on Jeonghan and Nayeon later.

Thirty minutes has passed, Seunghee paces her way to where Jeonghan is. He sent her a message that he's preparing the song with Nayeon in the library, where they can skim a lot of reference materials for better prose and poetry. So instead of telling Jeonghan on the phone, she decides to just check them out in the library. She has plenty of spare time anyways.

But maybe she shouldn't have. Seunghee finds Nayeon and Jeonghan talking at the library. Nayeon is sitting so close to him, like she can even smell his perfume. And Jeonghan is welcoming her, chatting to her with that close distance he should be suspicious of. A strong feeling of jealousy envelops her. But she is her friend and she trusts her boyfriend. The jealousy she's feeling is out of place and she doesn't even have to feel this way. But it's the first time Jeonghan is with another girl alone. Maybe that's the reason why. Maybe.

Without coming over them, she stays unnoticed at the entrance of the room. She grips her fists, clenches her teeth and in the end, simply walks away from the scene she wished she never witnessed at all. Feeling so frustrated and heavy.

Meanwhile, Jeonghan and Nayeon are busy finding some reference material for the song in the library. She sits across him this time, as they both scan some books of literature.

"Thank you by the way. I don't really know where to start with this kind of concept," she interjects.

"It's nothing. Anyway, I can't say no to Seunghee. You probably know she's overbearing. Just kidding. Don't tell her that."

"Don't worry, I won't. Well, between us two, I'm the meek one."

"I can tell."

They laugh at it taking it as a joke.

"What genre are you writing by the way?" he asks.

"Probably an upbeat one," she answers.

"The complete opposite of Seunghee, I see."

"Yeah, that's probably why we jive really well."

"Well you know if you want an upbeat one, I'm probably not the best one to help you. Seungcheol is better at this."

"That guy? No thanks."

"Seems like you haven't patched things up with him."

"I'm just not comfortable with him. And he's just not my type."

"Type of what?"

"Type of friend."

"Okay... Well, we better find some materials now, two weeks will end in no time."

"Yah. We should start right away."

Jeonghan continues to skim through the books while Nayeon does too. But in between those times, she finds time to sneak peeks at him. She's feeling heavenly. She's finally alone with him. She's finally spending some time with him. It almost brings her to tears. This overwhelming feeling, she wants more of it. And she wants more of it from him.
