Jun walks down the grand stairs and sees Sorn sitting at the living room. She looks agitated, and his heart twinges at the sight of her. But his suffering is keeping him back from embracing and comforting her. He reaches the last step down and looks at her with a straight face. Sorn finally sees him. She feels overwhelmed by her feelings for him. She really won’t hold anything back tonight. He’ll have to talk to her.
“Please talk to me, Jun,” Sorn begs for him now.
“Come, follow me upstairs,” he tells her.
He leads her to his room. This extravagant mansion of the Wen family literally just takes her breath away. She can’t believe he’s really this wealthy. He doesn’t look it, and he doesn’t do it either. He sits on a very comfortable king-sized couch, not even telling her to seat.
“So what brought you here?” he says.
Sorn can see the twitching in his eyes, there’s a hit of anger and sadness in them. But she has no idea why.
“Jun, you haven’t been talking to me in days. Did I do anything? I can’t recall anything about it. Why don’t you refresh me so I can make it right?”
“Maybe you really don’t know about it.”
“Then tell me! You can’t ignore me like this? How can we fix this if you don’t even wanna talk to me?”
He stays quiet and doesn’t even look at her.
She’s turning impatient, he’s really stubborn to the core. If he wants to be spoiled, then so be it, she’ll spoil him.
“Okay, I’m at fault, I did something wrong without even knowing it. So what do you want me to do?”
It makes him turn to her, this time she’s sure he’s biting the bait.
“Just tell me and I’ll do it,” she says this with a serious face and he stares back as serious at her.
“Then are you willing to give up everything for me?” he asks as he rises from his seat, keeping his straight face intact.
“Everything? What do you mean everything?” she answers confused about the question.
He walks over her and reaches out caressing her hair. Sorn is getting the hang of it and she’s starting to get nervous as to where this talk is going.
“Every single thing you have.”
He says this in a very troubling manner with a disconcerting gaze, putting shiver down her spine. She takes a deep breath and finally decides she has to storm out of the room. She’s so frustrated at him and kinda scared at the same time. She can’t believe he’s like this. This isn’t the Jun she knows. This isn’t the Jun she loves.
“I’m going home.”
She attempts to leave, but Jun grabs her arm not letting her. “You’re not going anywhere.”
He turns her around harshly as she winces in pain.
“Let go! You’re hurting me!”
“I said you’re not going anywhere!”
She doesn’t back down. She stares into his eyes with angry eyes as he gazes back with the same intensity. But later on, his eyes softens into something she doesn’t expect. He’s hurting. He’s definitely in pain. Something she can’t comprehend. Why? What did she do? With this, his grip at her arm also softens.
“Why? Why are you being like this?” she utters with a hint of breaking down.
Jun lets her arm go, shoves his head and unexpectedly gives her a sweet kiss. It lasted only for a few seconds but it was long enough to make Sorn’s world turn upside down. It’s so unlike the kiss Jisoo gave her. It’s a whole world of difference.
