After the long trip, the group part ways at the subway and of course, Seunghee and Jeonghan ride a taxi together to their apartment. Jun hesitantly walks away from them but he can't do anything about it.

In the taxi, Jeonghan looks after Seunghee who is still trying to keep herself awake.

"We shouldn't really have stayed up that late. Look at you," he says.

"But it's fun right? It's the first time I ever stayed out like that with friends on my birthday. Thank you Jeonghan-shi. It can't be this great without you," she says.

He doesn't understand if she means it or if she's just dizzy from being tired and dozy. But Seunghee herself reflected on what she said. She quickly rephrases it.

"Ah. I mean without your group. They are a great company. You guys are."

Jeonghan beams at her, "Well, I'm lucky I got to be with you on your birthday. I'm happy I get to make it up to you. And I'm glad I'm at least able to make you happy."

Seunghee stares lovingly at him. He's looking forward where the taxi is going. If only he knows he's the only one who can make her this blissful. She'll give all the love in the world just to have him love her the same. That's the wish she had yesterday. That's the only wish she had in all her past birthdays.

They reach the apartment soon. Jeonghan helps Seunghee carry her bags as they go up the stairs. Both of them are exhausted and what they really need is a nice rest. Standing infront of their doors, Seunghee is only thinking about laying on her own bed for the rest of the day. But Jeonghan has something else for her before they part ways for the day.

"Ah, Seunghee-shi, do you have a minute left?" he asks.

"What is it Jeonghan-shi?" she answers passively.

Jeonghan can understand that she's worn-out, drained and groggy, and all she wants to do now is rest but it's already past due her birthday, he can't let it be any later.

"Well, I just want to give you this," he hands out infront of her the small box on his hand from his pocket.

Seunghee turns to him and sees the box on his hand. She's surprised he has a gift for her. He bought her something, she remembers her gift for him that moment.

"You shouldn't have done this," she says.

"Happy 20th birthday Seunghee-shi," Jeonghan greets her sincerely.

She smiled though. She's feeling really special infront of him. This is the first gift she has ever received from him. It doesn't matter what it is, but it's worth a million thanks. She restrains herself from crying infront of him, but her feeling is overwhelming her.

"Well, thank you Jeonghan-shi," she replies calmly.

"Can you open it?" he requests.

Seunghee eagerly opens the box and gets awed at the silver necklace with her name SEUNGHEE as the pendant.

"This is beautiful. Thank you Jeonghan-shi. I really like it," she exclaims.

"I'm glad you do. Would you like to wear it?" he asks.

"Sure."

He gets the box from her, puts out the necklace and opens the lock.

Seunghee shoves her hair on the left side of her face and turns her back to him. The back of her neck is so smooth, he fumbles at the sight of it up-close. His fingers tingle at the touch of their skin but he manages to put it on her. And she turns around to face him.
