Legacy's P.O.V.
The next few weeks seem to be a blur. Everyday it was go to school, get bullied by the twins, hang out with Rack and Ruin, and then go home and hang out until Dad got home.
We had made a habit of watching news reports everyday after he got home. We didn't really talk. We just sat together. At first it was awkward, but now it was just silence. I missed how Dad and I used to be, but I knew that any hope of that coming back was useless. We were different now.
I was sitting in the middle of a History lesson, not even bothering to translate what the Instructor said. I was anticipating going on the rooftop with Rack and Ruin. That was also my daily routine. I would skip Training everyday and watch the second sun rise every morning.
I loved the twins. They made me happy. I actually laughed when I was around them. They loved to do impressions! I love their impression of Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.
"Shut the frag up Sideswipe!" 'Sunstreaker' bellowed at 'Sideswipe'.
"Make me." Rack purred. They threw soft punches at each other.
"You aft-hole! Mah paint!" Ruin said trying not to smile. I was smiling at their antics and I was giggling quietly, shoulders shaking that I was trying to contain it.
"What did you think?" They ask together. They crossed their arms and Rack had a goofy grin while Ruin was wiggling his opticbows at me.
I start to laugh even more and I grin, showing my teeth shamlessly.
"Hey! Get down from there!" We hear a deep voice call.
We look over the edge of the building and we see two Enforcers dashing though the front doors.
"Oh slag! We gotta go!" The twins and I gather our things and we race to the ladder.
Speaking of the red and yellow devils, they had been oddly quiet today. No death glares from Sunstreaker and no annoying questions from Sideswipe. Now that I was aware of how silent they were, I studied them.
In front of me, Sideswipe had his shoulders slouched and he held his helm low. Across the row, Sunstreaker's optics were dim and his paint was unkempt. Especially for him. I wouldn't dare ask what was the matter with the both of them though out of fear of me being jumped at the transport lifts, which I had recently learned the name of.
I was staring blankly, deep in thought, when I see movement in front of me and my optics flick to Sideswipe.
"So, my brother keeps thinking about you. He noticed you staring at him." He starts, his voice barely above a whisper. Out of the corner of my eye I see Sunstreaker turn to us. Well, that's just great, in my daze I was staring at the yellow twin.
"Shut your mouth Sides!" He growls. I feel the heat rise to my cheeks and my armor acted as an insulator, making my palms sweat. 'What was he getting at?' I thought to myself.
"He's a little obsessed, he broadcasts his thoughts in our bond and I have to admit, I'm curious about you. You're so 'exotic'." He says sarcastically.
Man, I should've seen that one coming. They were the biggest jerks I had ever met! Why was I so interested in this? I mean, they bullied me everyday. I hate them.
But then again, part of me felt sad for them. I knew that they lived in the lower levels, where Bots were staving to death, so there had to be some damage there. Maybe, them bullying me was how they vented their stress.
