Legacy's P.O.V.
It didn't take long for me to get to Jolt's med-bay. The Enforcers threw a fit that I was going off grounds, but, whatever. I walked the streets of Iacon holding my hand close to my chest. Not many people, or should I say Bots, were out. Everyone was working right now. I'm actually surprised that no Enforcers had stopped me.
"Legacy?! You should be in- What happened to you?" Jolt rushed over to me. He had a few patients on berths around the med-bay. He gingerly took my arm and studied my bleeding wrist.
"I sort of got into a fight. Well, not exactly, but-" I was cut off by a hug.
"Where is the little slag-head?! I'm gonna blast the fragger!" Bluestreak was trembling with anger as he held me.
"He got in trouble. It's okay." I said, patting his arm as he pulled away. He was still angry, but it seemed to calm him.
Jolt ushered me to a berth and sat me down. Blue took my mangled armor to go and fix it and I peeled my hand away from my wrist to show Jolt the damage.
The dark blue blood was sticky and was beginning to flow out of my wound again. I saw the charred skin at the end of my largest cut.
Jolt started to work by cleaning the blood off and then he started to stitch me up. I wince as he pulls the needle through my skin.
He finally treated the burn with some salve and Blue was waiting patiently for him to finish with my fixed armor.
"Thanks guys. I don't know what I'd do without you." I say, standing up to hug them both.
"It's no trouble." Jolt said warmly. I flexed my hand and I felt the slight tug on my stitches.
I decided to hang out with my uncles for the rest of the day. Blue was off work because it wasn't distribution day, but Jolt still had Bots to take care of, so Blue and I were his helpers.
"We're home!" I hear Coda shout happily. Coda skipped through the med-bay and leaped into Bluestreak's waiting arms.
Maverick walked in silently behind him, making his way to the back of the med-bay.
"Coda, we talked about this. You need to use your inside voice." Jolt says sternly. I smirk and I take seat on a nearby berth, close to where Maverick was.
"When did you get here?" I hear a quiet voice behind me. I look back and see Maverick curled up on a berth.
"I left after first class. I got hurt and Jolt fixed me up." I respond. I was sort of angry at him for ignoring me. I know that he was shy and all that, but the least he could have done was show me around to my classes.
"I know. It was the talk at the Learning Center." Maverick says. I look at him intently. However, he didn't feel the need to elaborate and I wasn't going to force him to talk.
Soon, it was getting late and I hear a ping go off. I was curious about what it was for a moment before I remember I have a comm in my helmet.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Where are you?" I hear Dad's voice.
"Oh! I'm at Jolt's med-bay. I'll come home." I said.
"I'll come over there. I don't want you going home alone." He says before he hangs up. I don't know why that made me so happy. He was never this concerned over me! I was glad we were getting closer. I still couldn't feel a bond, but this was a start.
Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
I growl as I try to unlock the datapad again. The passcode was in the foreign language and there was no way I was going to crack it. I was tempted just to smash the thing, but Sideswipe convinced me to give it back to the femme.
While I was being discharged, for misconduct and aggressive behavior, Sides had to take the freak to the on-site medic. He was telling me, he could here her shouting and then scream that sent shivers up his back struts. He bust through the door to find that some off her plating was off and there were burns around her wound. He was wondering why her plating wasn't welding, but then we reasoned that she had different plating than the rest of us.
::There you go thinking about her again." Sideswipe says slyly. I look to my side and I shove him.
::You have to admit, she is disgusting.:: I say, thinking of her hands. They looked so weird...
"I don't know. She seems intelligent. And she's not one to fight." He shrugs.
"Are you actually defending her? She busted her energon rations on me and she was being a stubbon aft this morning!" I feel the anger rise up in my chest.
"She's never done anything wrong though." Sideswipe says quietly. I huff.
"I'll give her datapad back, but I swear to Primus, if you want me to apologize to her..." I start.
"No way! Bro, just meet me when we're dismissed and we'll get her datapad back to her." Sides says quickly.
We were in our spot, I was sitting next to Kup who was still berth ridden from his injuries during the riot. We haven't had enough energon for him to fully recover and now that I'm kicked out of the Learning Center, we'll be especially short on energon.
"This is so weird! What language is this?" Sideswipe says curiously. He was holding the datapad up and was studying the foreign language.
"Where the frag did you get that?" We turn to Kup who was sitting up on his elbows.
"Um... We found it?" Sides lied. Kup said a few words of disappointment before he told Sideswipe to let him see it.
"This looks like a human language. I only saw it once from an old Wrecker that I was friends with. It looked like this." He says thoughtfully. Human? Those are the organics that housed Autobots during the Great War. In the several times that my twin and I had read about the dirtball, they had mentioned some of the humans names. Meeko? Fowler was the liaison. I knew that much. I also remember something mentioned about a Bot that stayed on Earth for his human mate. Gross...
"Did you see the screen? It's a picture of two humans!" Sides says gleefully. I did see the fleshbags on the front of it. They were standing in front of a decent painting that was also human made. It was nothing that compared to my work though. The one course that I took that I was actually good at, at the Learning Center, was our Culture class. It was all about art and music and how it has changed over the years. For fun we would do art projects and we'd get credit. I was too advanced for the class, but I found the Instructor to be tolerable. I'll have Sideswipe steal some art supplies for me.
This was actually one of the most eventful days I've had in a long time. I stole a datapad, broke the strange femme's arm shamelessly, and I was discharged. Now it'll be even more boring because I get to babysit Kup.
