Legacy's P.O.V.

I felt like a different person. I was happier, more energetic, I was talking more. I felt great. It was just what I needed. Dad was back and there was nothing that could have made me happier. Plus, I got my datapad back! I could read all I wanted now.

"You're in a good mood." Rack comments.

"Yeah, my Dad and I had a talk and we're working on rebuilding our relationship. I am so happy that he wanted to do this." I say, thinking about this morning.

"Legacy, I'm going to work. I'll see you tonight." He says, his voice muffled from the door. I get up off the berth and I go and open the door, him with his back turned walking to the exit.

"Okay. Be safe." I tell him. He smiled slightly and nodded before shutting the door behind him.

That was the first time that we had ever said goodbye to each other in the mornings. It was nice.

Later in the day, it was almost time to go, all the students were talking or messing with another. Then, a surprise assembly was called. We all made our way to the "cafeteria" and stood, looking to the Bot at the front.

From across the room, I could see Coda in the younger Bots' section. From a few rows ahead of me there was Sideswipe, and I didn't see where the twins or Maverick were.

The Bot at the front was a tall mech with red, black, and blue armor. He had something like a monocle over one of his optics and something mounted on his shoulder. The instructors and on campus Enforcers started to quiet us and withing moments, our mouths were shut and we were listening.

"Hello, my name is Perceptor," He started. He was the Official in charge of the Learning Centers!

"I came here today to discuss a new program and what I would like to do with those of you who are failing your courses each term and are much too old to be here. I'll start with the program." He went on to explain the program, never leaving out a detail.

"Now, to a more serious matter, we've had a issue with the amount of energon consumption at this Learning Center, so we looked into what was causing it. And there are too many Autobots here. So, what we are going to do is remove those who have been here for more than there needed terms, however exceptions will be made for those who are trying their hardest to pass their courses." This caused an uproar.

That meant that Sides wouldn't be here anymore, He had been purposely failing his classes so he could get free rations at the school. I searched for him in the crowd of Bots and I came up with nothing.

Then, everyone was silenced by a faint boom and the ground shook, some of us falling to our knees at the shock.

"What was that?!" I hear shouts from all around me.

Suddenly, the wall beside us was blasted open and the ones closest to the wall were killed. The forced knocked some of us down, including me.

Everyone went into a panic, trying to find the nearest exit. The building was starting to crumble and dust and debris rained down from the ceiling. I immediately started searching for Coda and Maverick. I pushed my way through bots, ducked under tables, and I desperately looked for my cousins.

Everyone was screaming. The exits were blocked, people were being crushed by the falling ceiling. It was nightmare. The room was the equivalent to the size of a football stadium, to a human. I felt small among the masses.

Then, there was one last bomb. It was what brought the building down. I watched as the entire ceiling collapsed over me and I moved to the nearest cover, which was under a table.

The falling pieces smashed into the ground, collapsing the table which I was under, and it bent my helm painfully by my temple.

I heard screaming around me and try to block out the noise by slapping my hands over my audio receptors. Soon, the screams faded to groans of pain and I too let out a shaky breath.

I pull my hand away from my audio receptor and find it covering in the thick, blue-violet blood. I reach for the bottom of the helm at the base of my neck, and let out a whimper as I pull it off my head. The dented metal scratched my head and would probably need stitches. Blood dripped from my head and onto the dusty ground. Hair that I thought was too thin when I first saw it was now a thick, dark blue, long mess, hanging in my optics.

I brush it back with my hand, going for my helmet again. I searched the inside of it for the comunicator, only to find it damaged beyond repair. Then, I reach a hand into my pack at my side, pulling out my datapad. It had a severely cracked screen and when I turned it on, I smile sadly at the picture of Orion and I on the lock screen. Then, the screen started flickering and died.

I huff, throwing it to the ground angrily. What happened to the Cybertron that I grew up hearing stories about? The advanced technology, diversity, culture, architecture, and all the other great things.

This place is a disaster.

Smokescreen's P.O.V.

I was patrolling the lower levels when I hear a boom from above. I look up and the civilians look around to each other confused.

"Smokescreen! We need you at the Learning Center. Get here as fast as you can!" The sergeant ordered through the comm-link. I felt my spark drop and I transformed, peeling out, leaving a cloud of smoke behind me.

When I get to the Learning Center, I feel tears prickling at my optics. The building was in ruins. The entire place was collapsed, smoke rising into the air, flames were being put out, and I could hear shouting all around me.

"Legacy's in there." I say to myself, with a tear rolling down my cheek.
