Sideswipes P.O.V.

I trudged through school, sad that I wasn't with my brother. On the first day, it hadn't been so bad because I made him walk with me to give the femme back her datapad, which she was grateful for. Now, I had been going to the Learning Center alone because Kup was still injured. He has some type of weird infection. My brother and I don't know what it is and no medic will help us because we can't afford the treatment and because Kup obviously participated in the riot.

Once I was sat at my seat, the femme behind me reading silently. It was hard for me to keep from turning around and talking to her, but I don't know what to say. I can't believe I saw her protoform! I can't believe she wasn't embarrassed about it!

I felt optics on the back of my head and I risk the awkwardness, swiveling around in my seat to face her.

"What's up?" I say awkwardly.

"You've been quiet. Something's wrong. And it can't be just that your brother is gone because you two have a bond." She state. I was taken aback. I've never had a Bot blatantly say something about our twin bond to me. Or Sunny. I feel a pang in my spark and I feel Sunstreaker's anger directed at her.

"Why do you have that look? Did I says something wrong?" She looks down at her desk.

"I-uh.. Nevermind. Nothings wrong." I turn back around and face the front.

"Liar." I hear her mutter. I stiffen and I smirk to myself. I put on a stern face.

"Excuse me?" I say as I whip back around. Her optics flick to mine and they briefly show her fear before they turn back to their normal, emotionless, glowing circles.

"I think something's wrong. Is this about they day Sunstreaker crushed my arm? I really don't give a scrap that you saw my pro-"

"Are you crazy?!" I whisper shout.

"Why would you say that out loud for every one to hear? You know that what little reputation you have would be shattered if anybot knew that." I say, a hint of irritation in my voice. Slag, my reputation too!

"Sorry. I didn't know. You keep avoiding my question! Is it about the other day or something else?" She asks.

"Why do you care?" I say a little too fast.

"I don't know. I just think that your making it obvious. Like you want somebot to ask." She says boldly.

"Wow, someone came out of their shell." I smirk.

"Well, your bother isn't here to hurt me." She shrugs with a small quirk of her lips. Sunny's amusement flowed through the bond as well as his narcissism that he was intimidating to her.

I chuckle softly and I get ready to turn before she catches my attempt to escape the conversation.

"Come on. You can tell me. Not exactally like I'm a social.... nevermind. I don't have that many friends or people to tell." She smirks.

"Alright. I'll answer your question if you answer mine." I say. She perks up and she looks at me curiously.

"Why are you different? I mean, your language. It's obvious that Cybertronian isn't your first language and your not from here." I ask.

"I was born on another planet. So when my sire and I came here, I had to learn the language. So, sorry that I've misunderstood you a few times." She shrugs.

"Where're you from?" I ask.

"No," She purred. "Your turn." I bow my head, smiling, before I throw it back and lean out of my seat, holding onto the back to keep from falling.

"I-um... One of mine and Sunstreakers oldest friends is sick and... Well, we can't get him treated."

"Why?" She inquired.

"Tell me what planet you're from." I demand.

"Ah, no." She shook her head.

"Why not?" My opticbrows furrowed.

"You didn't answer my question." Legacy smirks with mirth in her optics. I shark my helm and sat up in my seat.

"This is starting to get confusing. So, are you going up to the roof or are you coming to Training?" I ask.

"How did you know about that?!" She gapes.

"Sunny and I followed you." I shrug.

"I'm going to the roof." She sighed. I nod and turn back to face the front.

She was actually a fun conversationalist. I hid these feeling from Sunstreaker, but I felt bad about the way we've treated her. Sunny's been damaged by the pits, I have too, but it drives me to be a kinder person, as if I can make up for what happens down there. But him? He feels like everyday is the pit. Always having to fight for something. Whether it be our opponents, our rations, even Kup and I.

Legacy's P.O.V.

Sideswipe seemed so much kinder to me especially since Sunstreaker was gone. I found Sunstreaker to be cruel... With Sideswipe, I could carry on a conversation about random stuff. This wasn't the first time that we had talked civilly to each other, but it was the most interesting. I wouldn't call us friends or anything though.

I met the twins on the roof and we talked as we normally do. They were my best friends. I talked to them about the other twins, my dad, the rest of my family, and we joked around all the time. This time however, our conversation took a more serious turn.

"Why don't you talk about your carrier?" Ruin asks. I whip my head over to them and I feel my spark/heart clench in my chest. I actually hadn't thought about Mom in awhile. I was kind of angry that she just left Dad. He didn't talk about it, but I knew from Maverick, who heard from Jolt.

"She left a long time ago. Her and my Sire... Well, there was a fight." I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Oh..." Ruin says awkwardly.

"They were bonded right? How could she leave?" Ruin inquired.

"I don't know." I say sadly.

"Hey! Lets talk about something else. You've been getting along with the red menace?" Rack says jokingly.

"Surprisingly, yes! I think he feels bad about what happened with Sunstreaker and everything." I shrug.

"We haven't been getting teased as much either! It's like the bullying in this place is 'out-of-style' since that aft left." The twins say together.

I nod silently. I completely agree. I haven't been assaulted since he left. It's easier to get up in the morning and come to school. It is kinda sad though. Sideswipe has been moping around since his brother left. Now that I've gotten to know him, I learned that he was a decent guy. He was funny, he had an inviting aura about him, now that he has stopped pestering me, and he was conflicted. At least I think so.

He wasn't like his brother. He wasn't constantly brooding or sending glares to all who dared to look at him. I was beginning to think of Sideswipe as a friend....
