A/N: When it's either of the twins points of view, just assume everything is Cybertronian.
Joors-hours
Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
Sideswipe and I made our way into the lower levels. We passed each level, the odd looking femme next to us. She was looking anywhere but at us.
::She is so weird.:: Sidewipe says. I send my agreement and we both continue to watch her. She was pretty beat up from training today. She deserved it. Nobody ignores us... I felt the darkness in my spark flare with that thought.
We reach the lower levels and we step out of the transport lifts and into the filth that we called a home. We made our way to our corner at the edge of an old collapsed building.
"Here." We had energon cubes tossed at us, which we caught with ease.
"Thanks Kup." Sides says as he breaks the seal on his and starts to refuel. I take a seat on the ground, next to Kup, and Sideswipe follows.
"You wouldn't believe it. Something interesting actually happened today." Sideswipe says with a sly grin.
"Go on and tell me then." Kup said gruffly.
"There is a femme who transferred to the Learning Center and she is the most bizarre thing we've ever seen." I say, resting the half-empty energon cube on my knee joint.
"What do you mean?" Kup asks before he tosses back the rest of his energon. s
"She has this really weird plating. She's obviously not Cybertronian. It's really bendy. I've never seen anybot whose mouth moves like hers. And she has an accent too, but neither of us recognize it." Sideswipe explains.
"She needs to go back to where she came from." I grumble. There was a sharp pang as metal hit metal.
"What the pit was that for?!" I ask Kup, rubbing my audio fin.
"That kind of thinking is what started the Great War. I suggest you keep those thoughts to yourself." He snarled.
Kup was an old mech who was a lieutenant in the Great War. He had scratched armor that he neither cared to fix and was too poor to get it redone anyway.
I was quite angry with my paint job. It was chipped on my shoulders from training today and was losing it's shine.
"When's your next match?" Kup asks after a moment of silence.
"In a few joors." Sideswipe responds seriously. At first, it had been just me and Kup fighting. Then, Kup suffered an injury to his spinal struts that crippled him. After that, Sides became my partner and Kup and I had to train him up.
"Sideswipe, quit exposing your tailpipe! You'll be offlined in seconds out in the arena!" Kup shouts from the side.
"How do I keep myself covered?" He whines. I come at him with my sword and he deflects it easily.
::You have to be aware of everything around you. Not just the opponent you're facing.:: I tell him as Kup throws his empty energon cube at him, it hitting him in the back.
"See what I mean? Dead!" Kup shouts in frustration.
Sideswipe had improved over time and was almost as good a fighter as me.
::Afthole.:: He pinched our bond and I visibly wince.
::Slag-head.:: I punch him through the bond and he snickers.
"That's enough you two. Get some rest while you still can. I'm betting on you both tonight." Kup says. I huff and nod. Sideswipe and I go to our makeshift berths and we lay down.
I have dreams of a perfect paint job, glossy finish, and the crowd cheering mine and my brother's names.
We walk into the classroom the next day with limps. Sideswipe had a deep cut on his cheek and my paintjob was an embarrassment. We both couldn't hide our injuires because of our limping and sloppily welded plating. We came out the victors of course.
The odd femme from yesterday was already in her seat, on her datapad, completely oblivious to the world around her.
Sideswipe sat in front of the femme and it startled her. Her eyes met his and then they flicked to me.
"What happened to you both?" She spoke cautiously. I internally smirked.
"You should see the other guy!/It's none of your concern." My twin and I say at the exact same time. We both look at each other and I give him a glare, which he just shrugs off.
She looks at us in silence as the alarm sounds that class is starting. We both turn to the front and neither of us actually listen to what the Instructor is saying.
I glance over my shoulder to see the femme's optics locked on the screen of her datapad as it records everything the instructor says. I focus my optics on it and see that what was being recorded wasn't Cybertronian text.
She notices me looking at her and her optics widen as she blocks my view by resting her arm along the side of the desk. I send her a hard glare and she looks back down at her datapad
Once the class ended, Sideswipe and I were the first ones out of there. The one class that we could actually tolerate was training. Yesterday was considered a free day, but I liked the ones where we learn fighting skills. I used them in the arena.
"Give me twenty transform ups!" The Instructor ordered as soon as class started. Sides and I were in sync as we transformed over and over again, barely feeling any strain on our circuits.
"Why aren't you following orders femme?!" We hear the Instructor's voice bellow from behind us. Both my twin and I stop and glance behind us and see the strange femme. She speaks quietly to the mech but it was too soft for him to here.
"I can't." She speaks up, not meeting his optics.
"Why?!" He yells. Her voice drops to a low volume again and he screams for her to raise her voice.
"I don't have a T-cog." She says. All noises stop and everyone has their optics on her. She knows it too. Her frame seemed especially small right now and she kept her optics trained on the floors.
"Get out of my class." The Instructor huffs. I laugh as her expression, which starts an uproar among the students.
Legacy's P.O.V.
I speed walk out of the class and away from the voices as I wipe tears away from my optics. My immediate response is to go back to the safe haven of my room. I dash out down the hall and to the front entrance. Only to be stopped by Enforcers.
"Where do you think you're going?" The green armored mech had a tight grip on my arm and I could feel the plating start to cave.
"Please... let me go..." I say as tears gather in my optics.
He looks at me confused and hauls me back through the entrance of the Learning Center. I fall to the ground, catching myself on my hands, making the skin on my palms tear.
"If I catch you out again, I'm taking you to be processed." He threatened. My next response was to go to Sureflight. I rush to his office and I find the door locked.
"No... Please..." I cant handle this. I've been humiliated in front of the class of nearly sixty students. As if my face wasn't embarrassing enough...
I turn around and lean against the door, sliding down it. I hide my tear stained face in my hands and I let out a shuddering breath.
"Are you okay?" I hear two voices say in sync.
