Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
I duck into an old condemn building, hiding from an Enforcer patrol. I had to leave the cliff when they got too close, but now they knew I was in the area and they searched relentlessly for me.
"Spread out and look for him." The lieutenant ordered. All the Bots raised their blaster and readies themselves, going off to search in all directions.
There were two that were coming pretty close to my postition. They held their blasters high, swinging around to check every corner. This was it. This is where I was going down.
Kaon prison is the biggest prison on Cybertron. It was one of the first buildings that we constructed when we arrived in Kaon. And they shipped all the Decepticon fugitives there once it ws completed. The prisons were filling up in places like Iacon and Praxus and that is where the overflow went. That's where I'm going.
I couldn't fight anymore.
Sideswipe's P.O.V.
::Sideswipe, I can't run this time. I'm cornered.:: Sunny's voice rang in my helm.
::You can't try?:: I ask.
::I'd only get more time tacked onto my sentence.:: He says sadly. ::I have to surrender.:: He says. I could see his point. He didn't want a life sentence so he was going willingly.
I watched through his eyes and he raised his servos, making himself known to the Enforcers.
::I'll meet you at the prison.:: I tell him. He sends his acknowledgment and I leave the bond open for him.
I was on the building site and I decide to leave and go to the shuttle station and wait for Legacy. It was almost time for her to get back and I decided to comm her.
"Hello?" She said. I could hear the chatter of the Bots on the shuttle with her.
"Hey, um.... Listen, Sunny just got arrested," I pause. "He's on his way to prison and I thought you would want to come with me to meet him there." I say.
"Primus... Yes. We'll go there as soon as I arrive in Kaon." She says. "I'll be there in a few cycles." She states.
"Okay. And comm your sire to let him know. I know that he won't like it, but you should let him know where you're going." I tell her. With all the Cons in the area, I don't know that I could take on more than two by myself. Sunny was the fighter.
I found Legacy, walking out of the station, her digits tightly wrapped around the straps of her pack. We met each other with a quick hug and peck on the lips before we head to the prison. It was slow going since I had to walk with Legacy. It sucked she didn't have a T-cog.
After a long while, we finally arrived at the tall building that was only a pile of rubble not too long ago.
We head through the main entrance and are scanned and searched. The minicon checked us in and we were lead to a holding cell that had several mechs in it. There were Cons sitting on benches, waiting to be processed. Then, I spotted Sunny.
"Sunstreaker!" I called, grabbing his attention. His optics flicked up and they locked with mine. He sprung from his seat on the floor and came to the bars, wrapping his digits around them.
I rush forward, placing a servo over his on the bar. Our bond opened and I felt his feelings of nervousness.
"Sides..." Sunstreaker said, speechless. His optics flicked over my shoulder and I saw Legacy standing there awkwardly. She looked at the top of us with sad optics and came foreword.
"We missed you." She said softly, looking up at him. Sunstreaker looked at her kindly. She moved next to me and looked up at him without words. Just the holding cell alone was horrific. Obviously there had been several fights, judging by the energon stains on the floor. Cons were crowded everywhere and bickered over who was getting the seat on the bench. It was disgusting.
"When are you going in?" Legacy asks.
"Dunno. I only got here about a joor before you both showed up. The Enforcers reprimanded us on keeping a distance from the cell and we were forced to step back.
We stayed with Sunstreaker for a long time. The second sun had no doubt set by now and Legacy was sitting close to me on the bench. It was close enough to the holding cell that we could converse, but it was so loud in there that you has to shout. Sunstreaker knelt down, leaning against the bars, looking at us longingly.
We sat there in silence, unmoving, like statues. We just waited. As more Cons left, more came in. It was an endless cycle. Some were more violent than the others and I swallowed a lump in my throat, hoping that my twin wouldn't be bunked with on of them.
"Sunstreaker!" An Enforcer called. "Sunstreaker to the gate!" He ordered. Sunny stood and marched to the gate. The Enforcer opened it for him, but then a Con tried to bust out. The Enforcer whipped out an energon prod and shocked the poor mech, making him fall to the ground in a heap. Another Bot came and help him push the prisoner back into the holding cell, and my brother stood there shocked. His optics were wide and his worry seeped though the bond. We followed him as they took him to a minicon at a desk in the back, who began asking him questions about his health and was reviewing his record.
"Charged with speeder distribution, pit fighting, and resisting arrest..." He drawled. Sunstreaker's spark felt like it was about to burst right out of his chest. The Enforcer next to him had his blaster at the ready, daring Sunny to make a move.
"Can I say goodbye to my brother and mate?" He asked the Enforcer beside him.
"Make it quick." He stated. Sunstreaker looked over to me and Legacy and came over, enveloping me in a hug the size of one of Cybertron's moons. Our bond was stronger the closer we were and I felt as if we were one being for a split second before he pulled away. Then, he turned to Legacy.
I looked at Legacy, for what seemed like the last time and I reach for her servos, which she was playing with nervously. Her optics flicked up to me and she held optic contact with me. They filled with tears and I saw her jaw clench with the struggle of keeping them from spilling over.
"I'll talk to you whenever I can?" I tell her. She nods her head, a tuff of hair poking out from under her helmet. I reach up, tucking it back and she leans her head into my servo. I cup her face in my servo and I let my optics slip shut as our lips met in a sweet kiss. Her jaw slackened and she kissed me hard. I reached my arms around her waist, pulling her close, disregarding my finish. Her arms came up around my neck and she pulled me even closer, holding me like it was the last time. It may very well be the last time...
I pull away from the kiss and press my forehead to hers, opening my optics and staring deep into her azure ones. She didn't hold back her tears anymore and her cheeks were wet. Her lower lip warbles a little and I peck her sweet, soft lips one last time before I pull away.
I come back to my own body and I find that I was crying too. I watched as my twin pulled away from Legacy and he gave me one last longing look. I reached a servo out and I take his, which was resting at his side. I give his servo a hard squeeze before letting him go. A tear slipped from his optic which he quickly swiped away.
He turned around, meeting several strange glares, and he walked toward the Enforcer cautiously. There was a tall gate guarding the cells and right before he entered, a mech grabbed his upper arm and pressed a device to it.
Pain filled our bond and I reach a hand up to my arm, even though the pain was Sunstreaker's. When he pulled the device away, underneath lie a pointy, purple Decepticon insignia.
A/N: A bonus chapter because the last one was so short. I hope you all enjoyed!
