Sideswipe's P.O.V.
It wasn't so bad today. The aches were tolerable, the purging was less frequent, and I got to watch movies! Legacy was kinda awesome. They were so funny and oddly entertaining. We watched most of her collection, retiring every night so not to be caught by her sire. I'm surprised that we hadn't been caught. We've been here for about four days. I think....
::That's right.:: Sunny confirmed. I let out a shaky breath. I felt bad that they were having to take care of me. Especially Legacy. I'm not close to her like my brother so it's odd, but I was really warming up to her and so was my brother. Sunny and I have never had anyone help us like she has, other than Kup. He doesn't count though because he was family.
She was such a giving person. Legacy was willing to help us after all the things we did. We teased her, beat up her friends, broke her servo, and Sunny called her all those mean things...
::Focus on getting better.:: Sunstreakers said firmly. I smile to myself and I but my servos behind my helm. To be honest, I was kinda restless. I wanted to get up and move around a little, but I know that Legacy and Sunny wouldn't allow it.
::You got that right.:: My brother butted in.
::Quite invading my thoughts!:: I growl.
::Then quit thinking so loud! I can hardly hear the movie.:: He barked. How am I thinking too loudly? Whatever. My thoughts trailed to Legacy. It was pretty crazy that she was a techno-organic. That kind of thing had only been hypothesized by mad scientists. It was interesting.
After we found out, all the things that were confusing about her made sense. Her language and the picture on the datapad were explained, but not her carrier or her odd relation to the human race.
::Ask Legacy about the picture on her datapad. The one that we were so confused about before.:: I told Sunstreaker.
::I've pried to much in her personal life already Sides. Just leave her be.:: He responded. After I mentioned it and even though her was denying it, Sunny was curious too.
::Come on! She won't mind.:: I beg. Sunstreaker sighs and I listen in.
"So, on your datapad, there were pictures of humans. Those can't just be random fleshies and we were wondering who they were?" He asks. I watch through his optics as Legacy gives him a sideways glace, then she picked up her datapad, turning on the screen.
"They're my family. Um, that's my carrier and sire, although Sire's in holoform. Those are my uncles in holoform, one of my carrier's oldest friends, Adrian. He was friends with Sureflight, the counsler in Iacon." She explained, pointing at all of them.
Sunny was looking at all the pictures and then focused on a young human with messy blonde hair and blue eyes, shorter that another young female fleshy with dark hair and the same eyes.
"What about these two?" He asks, pointing with his digit.
"That's me and my brother." Her voice broke and she smiled sadly. Sunstreaker's optics flicked up to meet hers.
I can't believe she has a brother. That can't possibly be her. Where's her brother now? His thoughts were racing with questions about her and her brother.
"Where is he?" My twin asked tentivly.
"He died." Her eyes welled up with tears. "Ya'know this is the first time I've talked about him since I came here." She wiped her eyes.
"How'd he die?" Sunny asked. He was never one to beat around the bush.
"There's a group of people my carrier used to work for. They were sort of like Decepticons... They killed him in retaliation for my carrier and sire diffusing their operation." She answered shakily.
::What was his name?:: I ask.
"What was his name?" Sunsteaker asked for me.
"Orion. He was named after Optimus Prime. My sire really looked up to him." She said.
"Your sire worked with Optimus Prime?" Sunstreaker asked incredelously.
"Yeah my uncles too. Prowl's one of them. I'm sure you know him." She smiled slightly.
Wow, an Offical is one of her uncles? Cool. I was very impressed with her.
"If you were human before, how come you look Cybertronian? Well, mostly Cybertronian." My brother asks, getting to the bottom of her little mystery.
"The men that killed my brother were working with a Decepticon. Shockwave." We both froze at the name. He was the most terrifying scientists during the war. He was still at large to this day.
"He changed me into what I am. I could't stay on Earth like this, so that's why I came here." She said. Now, Sunstreaker and I felt like such aftholes. We teased her over her appearance, the way she talked, her intrests. She'd been through so much only to come to Cybertron to be bullied.
Legacy's P.O.V.
I didn't even know why I was telling them all this. I was only just warming up to Sunstreaker and I'm sure Sideswipe was listening in on the conversation. It felt kinda good to talk about them. Mom and Orion. It was still a touchy subject for Dad.
"You and Sideswipe are the only people who I've told outside my family." I say. Sunstreaker and I met optics again and I look away.
"Why?" He asks.
"I'm not sure." I hum.
"Well, Sides and I'd like to say sorry for all the things we did to you. You're not so bad." He says smiling faintly. I smile back.
"You're not so bad yourself." I nudge his side, mindful of his paint job.
I know this was odd, especially to me, but I was beginning to like them. Like really like them. I don't know why. They had been nothing but assholes to me in the beginning, but I was enjoying their company. Maybe it's because I don't have any friends at the Learning Center, or because I've been cooped up in here with them for forever, but I had feelings that stirred my spark.
