A/N: Joor - hour
Legacy's P.O.V.
I got up off my berth and almost tripped on Sideswipe. He had stayed the night. I couldn't make him spend the night alone again, especially after yesterday. He had been a gentlemech and recharged on the floor, although I don't think he did much recharging. My room had a bluish glow the entire night every time I opened my eyes.
He had finally fallen asleep and I decide not to wake him. I grab my datapad from my nightstand and I check the time. It was the normal time I got up for school, but I decided not to go today. I'll sign in a little later. My excuse'll be that I just woke up too late.
I step over Sides and I sneak out of my room. I walk into the lounge and see an empty house and a black screen on the wall. Dad probably left a little while ago. We hadn't been on the best of terms since the day Sunstreaker left. I was angry at him. He knew he was my friend and still tried to arrest him. I know it was his job, but the twins are the only friends I have. Now they are more than friends and he knew how close we are. That's what got me.
I come back to my bedroom with a cube of energon for Sides and my own breakfast. I open my datapad and I smile at the photo on the front. I had updated it. There was Mom, Dad, Orion, Rack, Ruin, and now there was also Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.
My favorite was the picture of them cuddling. It was just adorable and perfect. I felt tears prickling at my eyes and I blink a couple of times, unlocking the datapad, and continuing a book I started a week ago.
It was a few joors before he woke up and I look down at him. His optics were dazed and dim. He looked awfully tired. His optics landed on me and I hand him an energon cube, which he takes gratfully.
"Shouldn't you be at school?" He smirked tiredly, standing up.
"Yeah, but I thought that we could go see how Sunny is settling in today before you had to get to work." I said. His smirk was replaced with a frown and he nods, chugging down the rest of the cub. I marveled at how fast he did that before he looked at me.
"I'll get my stuff ready and go to the Learning Center from there." I say. I hop off the berth and I go to the galley, preparing my lunch.
Sides walked in and helped me, grabbing my key card and locking the door behind us. We walked silently. Sides wasn't acting like Sides. But who wouldn't with what his twin was going through right now. I couldn't imagine the stress he had on his shoulders.
I intertwined my digits with his and he looked down at me with a sad smile before kissing my head. We walked all the way to Kaon Prison and I feel dread sink into my spark. This place was not for the faint of heart. Mechs die in here. It was the worst prison on Cybertron despite it's short time of being here.
We arrive at the front gate and we gain access through the visitor entrance. The Bots that were in here were old and gruff. The visitors all looked shady and red-opticed. Sides and I check in and we waited for them to give us clearance.
The gate buzzed and we were allowed through. We were searched and scanned before a young Bot lead us to the back of the prison. I never thought it was this big. Cells seemed to be endless. They were in front of us, above us, behind us. Where did it end?
We walked down the long corridor for what seemed like forever before we finally arrived at Sunstreaker's cell. The Enforcers stood to the side and allowed us to approach Sunstreaker's cell. Well, it wasn't just his. There were three other mechs in there with him that were bigger and smaller. They all had red optics and dark armor that intimidated me. I took a step closer to Sides and all the optics in the cell look at us. I focus on the bright electric blue optics that never fail to take my breath away.
"Sides? Legacy?" He said surprised."I didn't think they'd let you in here." He said
"They just couldn't deny my irresistible charm." Sides joke, making Sunstreaker smirk.
"How are you?" I ask. He shrugs.
"S'alright. I just got here last night. I was just getting to know my roommates." He frowned. I look past him and at his roommates. They eyed me lewdly and I look away from them and back at Sunny.
"So, do you have to do labor or anything?" I ask.
"Dunno. I haven't heard much from the Enforcers about anything. I've just been waiting in here for them to tell me something." He said.
"Well don't wait too long." One of the mechs behind him says.
"What's that pretty little thing over there?" Another asks. I tried to convince myself that they weren't talking about me, but my spark froze. These mechs probably hadn't seen a femme in ages.
The twins sensed my uneasiness and Sides pulled me closer to him and Sunny blocked their view by standing right in front of me.
"That's kinda creepy..." I mumble. Sides nods beside me and we both look at Sunny, who was looking back with a nervous sort of expression on his faceplate.
We talked for a little while about the outside world. Sunstreaker probably knew most of the stuff because of his and Sideswipe's bond, but it was just nice to talk.
"I hate to say this, but my shift's about to end and we'll be having to leave pretty soon." The Enforce says. We nod and Sunny looks at us sadly.
"We'll come back tomorrow." I say. After Sides got off work and I got back in Kaon, we'd come here.
"Okay." He reached a hand through the bar and I took his servo, he squeezed my hand and I smile sadly. Sides and Sunny did the same and we waved goodbye as we left.
Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
I watched them leave and sadness sunk into my spark and I moved to my bunk, sitting down. I lean back on the wall and I think about my brother. How was he going to deal with this? He's never been on his own. He has Legacy, but this is the first time in ever that he's going to have to support himself.
"Your femme looked wierd. What is she?" One of the older mechs asks.
"None of your buisness." I growl. What does he mean, 'what is she?'. Afthole!
"Just curious mech!" He says raising his servos in surrender. "I'm just curious about her. I've never seen plating like hers. She good in the berth?" He wiggles his optic-brow. I leap off the berth and I punch him hard him the jaw, making him fall. The other roommates jump on me and I kick, punch, bite, whatever it takes to get them off me.
I hear shouting outside the cell, but I still keep delivering punches. Then, pain explodes all over my body and I fall to the floor. I look up with blurry optics as as Enforcer prodded a Con, him falling to the floor just like me.
