Chapter 20

Extra update for ya

Annabeth POV

I wake up on a couch with the faint sound of Austin and Ally on. "Hey, Annabeth," a voice calls. As my eyes adjust to the light, I make out Percy, sitting on the couch opposite of me, gleaming down at me.

"Hi," I croak. He gets up and goes to the kitchen, then brings out an ice pack. The ice pack is gently placed on my head.

I try to sit up, but am only able to do so with Percy's help.

"How're you feeling?" He asks. "Excellent," I say sarcastically. I see him smirk and say, "I'm ordering pizza from All Things Blue. That okay?" he asks and nod. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I brought you some water," he says and lifts up the cup. "Thanks," I say as he helps steady the cup, in which I pressed against my lips, allowing me to take a sip.

After doing so, he gently helps me lay back down, and covers me with a soft blanket.

"Let me know if you need anything," he says softly and I feel myself drifting away into sleep.......again.

Percy's POV

I see Annabeth laying there, unable to resist the pulling of sleep. Her breaths even out and I turn back to the T.V., after ordering the pizza.

Around 1 hour later, I hear the loud doorbell ring. "Dang it," I mutter as I see Annabeth stir. "Percy?" she asks. "Yeah, hold on, let me the pizza," I say and walk toward the door.

I pay for the cheap pizza and set it on the coffee table as well as paper plates. I help her sit up then give her a slice of the blue pizza. She thanks me.

Time lapse

Across the street is Annabeth's house, which is where I went to get her clothes and other necessities when she gave me her key and said her dad wasn't home.

After I brought them back to my house, Annabeth changed into a pair of pajamas and I lead her upstairs to a guest bedroom, figuring she would want a bed to herself.

"Good night, Annabeth," I coo before walking out of the room and cracking the door halfway.
